Aaron Merritt: instructions are super easy to follow, bottle has plenty in it for long time use and the cap is a measuring tool all in it's own. clears water up nearly instantly and fish look like they feel the difference.

Das: I've been using this brand on my fishtank for six years and my six year old goldfish couldn't be happier. Goldfish can grow and live for many years in the right conditions and this tapwater conditioner certainly helps to create those conditions.

AronAron: I like this brand because of the concentration and requires less per gallon then other brands. I also buy the smaller bottles in the same brand that only require 1 drop/gal. I’ve been using this brand for years now and have never had any problems. The cap has lines on it for ml and that makes it easy to get the right amount but I normally put kore then is needed because sometimes it’s hard to get the correct ml by using the lid. The smaller bottle that is better if you have a smaller tank be used it’s just one drop per gallon. Just make sure it says that when you buy it as it comes in different concentrations. Over all this larger bottle was a decent price and works for my outdoor pond. I’m sure other brands are good as well but I haven’t really tried them. I guess if the price ever makes it worth while to try the other brands I will but otherwise I’ll keep with what I know works good.

Aron: I like this one because it’s just one drop/gallon. Makes it easy to add to fish tank. Most of the other brands have you pore it into the cap and are so many ml/gal which sometimes makes it hard when you only need it for smaller tanks. Sometimes I just add a few gallons and I put just 3 drops in. Easy and never had a problem and I’ve been using this stuff for years. Sometimes it’s hard to find as it’s out of stock. I used to be able to buy it in store but Amazon has been the only place I could buy it for many year for some strange reason.

Mr. M. A. Smith: Always use this product when performing a water change and never had any issues. Would I have issues if I didn't use this, who knows but have been keeping fish for 10 yrs and very few losses.
This can be more expensive than comparable products but you can purchase this when it's on offer every now and again and you only use a small amount per ltr, much less than rival products so 500ml of this will last longer than 1ltr of a comparable product.
Overall happy with this treatment and would recommend.

gtippitt: I love all of the API products, especially their easy to use test kits. This product is great as well. Regardless of which size you buy of their tap water conditioner, it is the best value of reputable brands that will treat all tap water for your pond or tank. It only requires 3 drops per gallon you add to your tank. It removes chlorine, neutralizes chloramines, and helps detoxify any heavy metals in your tap water. Some more expensive products will claim to also include things to help your fish maintain their protective slime coating (and cure male pattern baldness and perhaps ED). If your fish are healthy, and your tank's water parameters are maintained well through weekly water changes and good filtration, those other ingredients are useless. (The "Special Sauce" is just ketchup, mayonnaise, and relish.) If your fish have sores or other health problems, then find the cause, fix it, and treat them with something besides a tap water conditioner if needed.

Like every other tap water treatment API's instructions first tell you an amount of the product required to remove chlorine, and then in smaller print below say to use 2 to 3 times as much to also neutralize the more...
