Matt Edwards: Bought this after it was recommended for use with my Synology NAS. The extra data connection to the NAS is great so the NAS knows if it's running on battery and can do a controlled shutdown. Also can my NAS turn of the battery and reboot the entire system when power is restored. Great unit.

Scott: Really nice shape. Decent display. Plenty of power. Compared to CyberPower this is much nicer. No stinky smells or burning smells. Only real issues are the plugs are too close to each other at the back. The coax cable and Ethernet ports on the back are useless as well since nobody uses these because they create latency and issues with speed and signal loss. No need for these on any UPS. My model is the 850VA. Price is a bit high as well, but quality seems decent. We shall see how long it lasts.

Randy KelleyRandy Kelley: I've used this ups for around 2 1/2 - 3 years and once I moved cross state I had to leave it behind due to the weight of it and being not as cost effective to ship across the us and ended up purchasing another one since it worked amazingly compared to the other ups's I've tried, gives you a buffer period between power flickers to not have your desktop pc completely shut off or a 5-15 minute window depending on your pc specs to power everything off safely in a full outage, I have a fairly beefy power hungry pc with a rtx 3080 and other high end parts and this is one of the few I've seen that can handle the wattage usage of my pc at this price point while still managing to keep my pc on during power flickers, also nice it has a side that's purely for surge protection and Ethernet surge protection, It's super important to have a solid Ethernet surge protector on your modem, had my previous 300$ 5 gigabit modem die to lightning hitting a tree in our front yard and having lightning travel up the copper coax line and frying it so make sure you're getting usage out of all of the features of this ups and save yourself money down the line with dead/fried components!

Fuzzyball: Used Apc products for yrs. Quality is better in newer models. Battery life is still disappointing, but that’s the nature of the beast. You will replace the battery in 3-5 yrs, depending on outages and battery drain. All in all, though, a really good deal.

Enrico: Come da titolo questo UPS è a 120 Volt quindi inutilizzabile in Italia... peccato perchè il prezzo sarebbe stato ottimo!

E. Freeman: I've owned this UPS for about a month so far. It reports two power events so far. One being a blackout for about 4 seconds and the other was a voltage surge. The voltage surge permanently damaged a TV which my roommate foolishly put on a power-tap instead of a surge protector and my HTPC probably would have suffered the same fate were it not for this UPS.

I have my HTPC, modem and router which use ~50 watts when idle. The UPS reports ~45 minutes of battery power for this configuration.
Pros:
- It works, saved my electronics during a surge and kept them running during a blackout.
- Respectable VA and wattage ratting. (~45min run-time @50 watts)
- No fan! Quiet (sort of, see notes)!
- The LCD is a nice feature to easily look at the status of the UPS.
- Good looking.
- APC powerchute is simple to use and seems adequate for non-industrial users.

Notes:
- Some other reviews are reporting a humming noise which I suspect is just transformer hum. There is a slight transformer hum in my unit, that can barely be heard when I'm less than 1 meter from the UPS. When I'm sitting on the couch (~2 meters from UPS) I can't hear it no matter...
