Bluesman: I installed 2 of these clips on my old plastic mastercraft tool box that had the original locking clips broken off with age. I riveted these on the tool box, and they’ll work perfectly. Maybe even better than the old plastic ones? Quality seems very good, fast shipping. I would recommend these latches for light duty applications

R. Lieberum: This item is made of metal and small in design. Screws are included to mount onto any surface. It does take effort when installing to make sure the latch and hook are spaced correctly. Too close together or far apart and the latch is worthless. No template is included so you have to figure out a spacing of the 2 pieces that will work. Seems to be manufactured of quality materials. No issues since I successfully installed with correct spacing of the 2 parts of the latch.

tim: The latches seem solid and they look good. The only problem I've had so far is that the screws that they send with them are cheap. The heads of the screws popped off as I was installing them. I did not use much pressure. They just popped off. This was the reason for not giving 5 stars. I'd bought some black screws for hinges and used extra to put these on. They work well. Just buy different screws when you order these latches.

Dragon AionDragon Aion: The latch itself is well made but the screws that came with it must be made out of zinc and easily break I suggest not using them at all and instead using a different screw for this insulation I used a machine screw which is made out of machine steel
