Bigcar: I hardly used this product, but when I used it it refused to recharge and is now a small plastic paperweight.

Response from Anker was 'sorry, but your warranty expired 6 months ago'. Shame no solution was offered. I wouldn't buy this brand again.

S. S. Behnke: I bought this battery pack to take on my bike rides with me for when my phone needed charging since using some of the apps to record my activity eats up battery power on phones. Worked great for this purpose for 2 yrs and then it suddenly quit taking or giving a charge. I appreciated the 7.4 oz weight and will be looking to buy a replacement with similiar weight.

Daniel: Me encantó éste producto por su compatibilidad con carga rápida para IPhone, además de ser bastante funcional para una batería como la del IPhone SE 2020. La funcionalidad del modo goteo está genial, sin embargo, creo que hace falta un manual algo más elaborado, pues como persona ciega me hace falta saber, por ejemplo, si activo el modo goteo y luego le conecto el iPhone ¿se mantiene o si quisiera que se cargue más lento, tengo que volverlo a activar?. Ésta funcionalidad es muy útil para cargar audífonos y el reloj sin utilizar los 18w o 12w
El tamaño es genial, así como la funda para guardarlo; el cable es de unos 50 cm, un tamaño apropiado. Finalmente, concluyo recomendando éste producto, eso sí, si se tiene el adaptador de 18 w para cargarlo más rápido, se le saca más provecho.

TimGTimG: Once the pack is charged, it charges my Pixel 3 phone very quickly. My phone reports it's being fast charged and the USB tester reports 9 volts at 2 amps.

When the pack was completely discharged, and would not charge my phone anymore, I put it on a 60 watt USB-C charger connected my charge monitor. As you can see it charged in 4.5 hours as they state, but it only took 2969mAHr. This is because it was charging at 15 volts via USB-C. The important thing is that the total wattage of the pack battery, and that shows 44 Whr. The documentation says that it's about 37 Whr, so the measured match is the specified pretty closely.

Since Watts is amps * volts, if we were to charge this pack at 5 volts, or 1/3 the voltage then it would take approximately 3 times the mAHr (and a lot longer!) to get it fully charged which would be very close to 10,000 mA hour. So I think their mA hour rating is really at a certain voltage that they don't specify.

What you really need to know when buying USB-C type charger packs is the watt hours that they can supply to your various devices because USB-C PD can charge at 5, 9, 12, 15 and sometimes even 20 volts.

Overall this pack does...

🎬Filmfreak🎬🎬Filmfreak🎬: Der Formfaktor und die Farbe gefielen mir sehr gut.
Hier ist ein Lithium-Ionen Akku verbaut.
Wichtig war mir auch die Stromabgabe über USB-C. Eigentlich wollte ich es als Akku-Erweiterung für die Oculus Quest 2 nutzen. Das geht einwandfrei, wenn man die PB z.B. in die Brusttasche steckt, dann ist es kein Problem.
Möchte man die PB aber an den Elite Strap kletten, ist sie ein wenig breit. Da empfiehlt sich ein schmalerer Formfaktor.
Ansonsten ist das Gerät top. Einmal aufgeladen konnte ich damit ein Tablet komplett laden und danach mein Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite (Akkustand < 10%) nutzen für Videotelefonie (Whatsapp) ca. 40 min. Danach war der Samsung Akku bei knapp 50% und die PB alle. :)
Ich denke, das ist ein recht gutes Ergebnis für die 10000mAh PB.
Ein dünner Schutzbeutel ist enthalten. Im Lieferumfang ist eine kleine gefaltete Anleitung in vielen Sprachen und ein USB-C Ladekabel.
Die Taste auf der Geräteoberseite zeigt einmal den Ladestand der PB. Einfach zu ladendes Gerät anschließen und los geht es.
Möchte man jedoch nur den Erhaltungsmodus aktivieren, drückt man die Taste 2x, bzw. für 2sec. Die LEDs leuchten dann grün.

FrenchPugs: 11-21-2020 UPDATE

I've been using my replacement Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 PD, USB-C Power Bank (18W) for a little over a week now, and all seems to be well. I like that it charges my phone quick, and that it is pretty light to carry around in my purse. My only issue is that it does get pretty hot when charging my Ipad. but I think that's pretty common when trying to charge an IPad with a smaller powerbank, and doesn't bother me so much. I think I will use it primarily for my Iphone, and I would recommend using the larger Anker 20000 PowerCore to charge an Ipad. I have several of those larger Anker PowerBanks and they charge my ipad 11 Pro (2020) flawlessly, and quickly, and they never get hot. But for the iphone, I think this is the perfect size charger, and I get several charges before I have to re-charge the PowerCore.

I have to say again that customer service was excellent. If you have a defective unit, give them a chance to make it right. The seem to stand behind their product. They were not only friendly, but also extremely responsive via email. They replaced my defective unit, and also sent a PowerPort Speed+Duo wall charger to replace the mini wall charger...

John J. Reid: I went on a weeklong trip to a cabin in upstate NY, bookended by seven hour motorcycle rides (not including stops) through mountainous areas. In the old days I would turn on GPS at a gas station to save phone battery, and use an mp3 player for music.

This last trip I had a new bluetooth com set for my helmet, and I wanted to keep my phone on the whole trip. The battery died somewhere between 2-3 hours in (GPS in mountains on an old Iphone is rather bad on batteries). I connected this unit to my phone an after about 10-15 minutes it was charged enough to get back on the road. I kept it plugged in the rest of the way. I didn't use the device again until again, I took the long ride home. I didn't charge this device when I was at the cabin, so I got at least ten hours of energy draw using GPS on an iphone in mountains...that is all I want, and it did it great.

I only have one very minor quibble. This is a unit that is sold internationally, and I get why they need to write manuals in multiple languages and use lots of "universal pictures" to tell you how to use the device. TBH, sometimes those "easy to understand pictures" made me scratch my head. It's a very simple...

DeNo: I want to point out that I ordered this item because of its properties, not its color. I don't really care about the color to be honest. I know they have a black version, but this one happened to go on sale, which lead me to this purchase. Now with that out of the way, my review. The product is as described (color aside). It is much slimmer and lighter than my older regular charger Anker power bank. It charges my pro max without issue. I love the PD port for fast charging. It also has a USB A port which I use to charge my watch or BT earplugs. The bank is lightweight and solidly built. For what the product is, I give it 5 stars. It delivers on form and function (which is what I care about). People complain about the color, but honestly, that is just personal opinion. Sure, I guess some people care, but I really don't. As long as it does what it says it will, I am ok with it, color be damned. It comes with a nice carrying case as well.

So if you're looking to buy this for it to be as "green" as the iphone, don't bother, it isn't. But if you want a slim and functional power bank, this is the one for you.
