Il misuratore è inoltre dotato di porta di alimentazione esterna per essere alimentato con un alimentatore da 6V, quindi senza ausilio di batterie.
La precisione è abbastanza precisa, nei limiti della tollerabilità a confronto con misuratori professionali dai costi molto più elevati. A questo prezzo è consigliato avere un misuratore perché potrebbe prevenire gravi patologie e in questo, la prevenzione gioca un ruolo importante.
