J. Muench: I was restocking our roadtrip first aid kit and needed to replenish the emergency blankets. On a previous trip, we came across a back-country accident and provided a bunch to keep the injured man warm until he was medevac’d out. I buy in bulk for just such occasions, you just never know, so better to be prepared to give all that you have away.

This was a good price for a dozen of them, and I was surprised to have them packaged in a nice little First Aid Kit bag. That was a nice bonus. Now I have the storm case first aid kit resupplied and used the rest in the supplied kit in our Emergency kit.

While I haven’t needed to use a Mylar blanket yet, we have a dozen more of them now, they don’t take up a lot of space, and are ready to go. A really good buy!! Thank you!!

DarthEagle: Just opened these up and the look like they will do the job. Blanket is a little rough, and I doubt they are reusable but I didn't buy them to be reusable. The case looks pretty well made for what it is and I'll probably re-purpose it for an actual First Aid kit.
