Jessica S.: I loved everything about this book. The writing, the story all of it!!! I’m going to see what other books Amy had written because I loved it so much!

Marie Phillips: So well-written. Engrossing fictional historical love story. All wrapped into one. I found myself researching the true events as I read the novel. And my heart ached along with Anne’s.

Kindle Customer: I love the journeys Amy Harmon takes her readers on. This book is unique, but leaves the same sense I get at the end of all of her books. I feel filled with satisfaction at the resolution, but still hoping there are just a few more pages.
This was a story of history intertwined with magic of a young woman who loses who dear grandfather. In the midst of immense sorrow travels to his homeland of Ireland to not only connect with him, but to her heritage. That journey is rich and complex and more importantly filled with love.
I don't know how Ms. Harmon does it, but I loved this book, as I have loved all of her books that I have read.

Betsy C.: I went in thinking it would be like Outlander but in Ireland. In some ways it was similar but I never found myself comparing the two worlds while I was reading this one.

Anne goes to Ireland after the grandfather who raised her passes away and asks her to return them both to Ireland. She goes and as she’s spreading his ashes in the lake on the land he grew up in, she suddenly finds herself in 1921 instead of 2001. She spends 10 months pretending to be her grandfather’s dead mother who shared her name and falls in love with his guardian and parents best friend.

I found myself constantly changing and adjusting my theories on where the story and characters were going but not wanting to get there because then the story would be over!

The only piece I felt was missing was how Eoin found out that the Anne he remembers is actually his granddaughter. But perhaps that needed to be omitted to make the ending as beautiful as it was!

Lori: What a great story about life, love and family. The little details throughout the story made me want to go back immediately after I was finished and re-read this book. It is very well written and the way Amy Harmon was able to navigate through the characters and through time travel was outstanding. I love that she took the care to keep the story historically accurate with the timeline in the characters. Well done.

ramendra singh: An extremely well researched book which narrates the struggle for a new nation amidst it's incongruities. Passionately written with fantasy and history intertwined.

Gisele Greve: Romance maravilhoso.

Kindle Customer: I've literally cried throughout the last part of the book, i cannot remember when I
cried this much while reading a book. I thank the author to make me feel love again, I read this book when I hated love, now i cannot wait to be in love. I will wait for my time and find my story, the story which the wind knows.

TJ: I used to love thrillers, mystery, fast-paced page turners. The emotion I was looking for was purely thrill, the "Oh God, it was him?" sort of punch to the gut that makes you want to immediately tell someone about the oh-so-exciting experience, hoping your friend would share your enthusiasm.

I gave this book a try, looking for something a little more literature, perhaps to make me feel a wee bit intelligent, or educated than understanding fantastic crime stories. The story is a little complicated for me to explain and make sense, without spoiling it. And I'm afraid my bad writing skills would ruin the author's magnificent story and give you the wrong idea.
Yes, it has history in it, centering around Ireland and England, a human drama with romance which usually would have bored me to my core. Love stories? It's 90% a Romeo-Juliet framework, people fall in love and one of them has to fall ill or encounter a fatal accident, all too many tears shed with talks of true love, sometimes smartly veiled with sweet but not-too sugary dialogue and sentences. I know what's coming, and the characters often tasteless; Twilight movies were a complete no-no for me, as well as Asian...
