ShannonShannon: I was really surprised by how solid and beautiful this console is. The price seemed to go to be true but it was. It is very heavy in the box, luckily my husband was home and we had to use our dolly to bring it in. Assembly is easy if you follow the instructions. If you accidentally switch D and E it will not go together (so I hear lol). The fireplace gives off good heat. We live in AZ so we don’t need much but it’s enough to keep us from needing to turn on our central heat to take the chill off the living room.

lukeluke: It's sturdy and looks great. The fake wood does scratch easily and it took a good 2-3 hours to assemble alone, but the instructions were easy to follow. Fire place is better than expected too. Our biggest complaint was the one warning sticker that was on the top piece.. it was such a pain to get off.

Overall, for the price.. it's a great buy and I'd definitely recommend.

LskeLske: First, I would like to thank the reviewer who recommended that you bring each box in at a time because of how heavy the overall weight of the box is. It also made it easier to unpack and to make sure all the pieces and parts were included. It does recommend two people to put it together, but I was able to put it together myself (60 yrs young). The instructions were easy to follow and all the hardware was labeled. Just make sure you plan on several hours to do it. I did not experience any issues with the installation as other reviewers had mentioned.

Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for. Although it is not solid wood, the quality is very good for the price. The appearance is very sleek and modern with a touch of farmhouse.

If you are on the fence about purchasing, don’t hesitate anymore. I truly think you will like it as much as I do.

SirenaSirena: It’s a great fireplace/tv stand. I picked this one for the height. It’s very sturdy & I love that these Amazon speaker stands match beautifully. I also love that the cupboards are big enough to fit the stereo in it, to hide it. It takes an hour to assemble by yourself just make sure it’s right side up. Best part..it’s delivered to your door.

Amazon Customer: We really like this unit. No heat source in the main room and this has been great so far. Easy to program. As far as the assembly....follow step by step instructions ( I know thats hard for the guys) I dont recall how long it took me and Hubby to put it together but it took a while. Just organize yourself and it is fine. Suggest 2 people as it might get frusterating with one person but it can be done. Im actually impressed with the unit. Will update when we hit the winter months in Northern Ontario.

DAK: I ordered a Black unit. This unit has a Black woodgrain paper laminate.
Took a while before arrived.
Arrived damaged pieces and lots of scratches and a few chips in front pieces. Replacement pieces took another few weeks and also arrived in worse condition than original shipment. Company was contacted and resulted in me keeping the fireplace and using what I could and covering damage with a Black permanent marker so not so obvious. With the Unit being Black with a paper laminate you can really see the damaged whereas I believe a woodgrain would not be so visible.
Easy to put together and comes with an instruction manual that had a couple of errors but easy to figure out. All pieces were included and nothing missing. Unit once put together was level and all pieces fit evenly.
All in all the unit firebox works well so far and from a distance it is a very nice looking unit.
The suggestion I would make is that plugs for the cam locks and the front screws would be nice to finish off the piece so they are not so visible. I believe it would make the unit look more professional. The design where the cords go for hooking up are in really good places on the unit. The level...

KCJ AKJ: Box may be 150 lbs, and I can leg press close to that, but I could not pull it up my porch stairs on a hand cart (the last step being an inch higher than the rest), without hearing my back have a HUGE pop and going to Urgent Care. Please don’t be as foolish as I was - have someone help you get it in the house! Or open the box outside, and bring it in in smaller boxes (3) or open those boxes and bring the pieces in on their own. I will add that I am an older woman, so a larger man could probably pull that up without issue, but just be aware. (btw, after X-rays, It ended up just being a serious muscle strain - though not sure what the pop was.)

When I checked the parts, I was missing a bracket. I called the number on the insert flyer and they were prompt to answer and quickly gathered my information. They told me it would take 14 business days, but the part(s) arrived in only 2 business days (Priority Mail). And they sent ALL hardware again rather than just the piece I was missing. That was going above and beyond. Who knows - it may come in handy.

Dave: We are so happy we found this unit! We've been searching for something like this for years and are so happy that we waited. The quality is great and it looks a lot better than any of the electric fireplaces you see at Home Depot etc.

It comes disassembled and you WILL need longer than the "1 hour" it takes to put together that the instruction manual suggests. You WILL also need at least 2 people just to rotate and put the side & top panels on.
Naturally, lay some blankets down to protect your floors and the unit itself if you're assembling it on hard surface floors.

The fasteners and hardware all came separated and sealed in a compartmentalized package which made finding the exact screws, nails, dowels etc for each step extremely easy.

We also recommend that you get some peel-and-stick protective furniture pads for the legs and two support feet that are underneath in the middle.

There is actually a lot of open room behind the fireplace insert in the back, enough space to put a power bar for TV connections etc. As long as you're not blocking the vent in the back you should be fine.

As for the heat, it kicks out enough to make the room more...

R. FlanaganR. Flanagan: After reading tons of reviews I finally decided on this one. Some quick notes based on other reviews:

Putting it together:
took me and another person 2 and a half hours. Instructions are easy to follow and everything was labeled well but the order of the instructions make for a lot of wasted time. Could take less time if you read ahead and not follow the directions exactly as they have it ordered.

Broken pieces:
Part of what took a while to put it together was one of the side pieces was broken. I saw a lot of complaints of broken pieces but it’s made in China and it’s a piece you gotta put together, it’s a crap shoot and sometimes things aren’t perfect. I’ve included photos with the broken piece. Fortunately we had some ingenuity to be able to fix it ourselves with clamps and glue and some extra screws. The broken piece was definitely done at the factory where it was made as it was in the middle of the package and packaging was solid. It was a bummer we had a broken piece but it happens. So I only rated it a 4. It’s not a super expensive piece made of high quality materials or even made in the US, so you get what you pay for.
