AmeriColor Red Powder Food Color - 3gm Packet for Decorating and Baking

B: I have purchased the black color as well and was very pleased. I seem to go through a lot of red so I thought I'd give this a try. It wasn't as powerful as the black, but it definitely helps my macarons where even the slightest liquid can drastically alter results. I often use this in addition to gel coloring to pack more vibrant colors in. Do know that it can increase in vibrancy as time goes on, so my macarons are much brighter at the end of their rest period compared to when I first put the color in. If you aren't sure if the color is right, let it sit so the color can develop for a bit before looking again.

Found a red that I can use with whipped cream frosting that won’t make the frosting runny. I actually got true red.
Note: I stabilized whipped cream frosting with pudding mix.

☕: I used the same cookie recipe from the past. They are delicious cookies. This time I added the red powder. The cookies are very red, which is great. But they lost their flavor and after only eating 3 of them my stomach feels a bit strange... I've always loved these cookies so I'm bummed the flavor changed after I used the powder.

Glamma: It mixes well into icing but it takes a lot to get vivid color...that makes it pretty pricey.

-Perfect color.
-Did not have any flavor. Frosting texture and flavor was not affected at all.
-Easy to use. (My mixer died on me but I was still able to blend this in by hand and get a good smooth color.)

Cons
-Needed the whole container for the one batch of frosting. (Not a terrible thing, but good to know when planning ahead.)

Amazon Customer: Powder food coloring is very intense color. Gives a true red in this case and you use much less. Very satisfactory.
