Timothy Parker: I have had my unit for 6 years and it is still working well. Two AA batteries in each sensor last a loooong time. I put sensors in my living room, attic, back porch, garage and greenhouse. Connectivity has been reliable. It is fun to be able to monitor temp and humidity from a central location. Accuracy is pretty good for temperature but tends to be off for humidity. The sensors can't be directly calibrated, but both T and H can be calibrated on the base unit so that the display is closer, but the base units will still show the uncalibrated values which can easily be off by 10% for humidity. I used a standard salt test to calibrate the sensors to 75% humidity, but I don't know how accurate it is at other humidity levels, and I have a feeling it could be off by 5 or 6% when humidity is closer to 45%. Temperature, once calibrated, it within a couple of degrees or less. So, once calibrated, it will give a good ballpark figure which is probably good enough for most things. If you are using the sensors to verify temperature or humidity at a particular level, then it should be calibrated to that level. Different kinds of salts can be used to do that.

Michael R.: We had a horrible time with mold in parts of our home. Literally spent thousands of dollars on whole house in-line HVAC dehumidifier. Actually had to get back up free standing units during the worst of the summer. But there are several "zones" in our house (3,800 sf). How to know where to best to put the individual DH units for optimal efficiency? And how do we know the big HVAC DH is working as advertised? This system was the answer. First, the sensors come well-calibrated. We turned them all on and put them side by side. The temperature and humidity readings were almost exactly the same within 1 degree and RH % of each other. With 5 sensors, we covered all the suspect zones in the house. We were able to identify 2 areas the HVAC DH wasn't up to snuff. We put individual DH's in those sites and finally had total control of the house environment. The display panel is clear and well lit. Information displayed is easy to interpret and gives you a comprehensive detailed picture of your house. Set up wasn't rocket science. We understand greenhouse keepers and farmers use something like this system professionally to manage irrigation needs and such. We...

DMDM: So I just got this today, and my initial impression is that this was engineered very carefully. All the sensors connected easily, even after unplugging and moving the base unit. When I had the sensors all together after putting batteries in them, they all were very close in their readings. Despite the base unit's small size it is easy to read. Each zone/sensor shows temp, humidity, battery, and signal strength. The zones can be named, but the options are very limited (see other reviews). My opinion is that it does the important part very well: showing remote temps and humidity. I also like that the sensors themselves also display the temp and humidity.

Okay, now the nit-picky part. The display could have some better layout options. Like only showing the graph only when I want to see it, and otherwise using the space for bigger display of the time. Or maybe showing the graph fullscreen when I want to see the history. Or having more labels for the zones. (Why have Wine Cellar and Cigar as options but not Shop or Garage?)

So, one other note that I feel I should mention is that this has readable documentation written by native English...

John D. Hanig: My house is on three floors but I live primarily on the middle floor. I may not go upstairs for weeks. On the ground floor, if I forget to shut the garage doors, they might stay open all night. Keeping up with temperatures around the house allows me to keep up with left open doors to the outside or a heat pump that has died on me. I used three different digital temperature modules for this. The screens on all of them had faded over time so I needed something better. Today that arrived.

When I first unpacked it, I was a little surprised at how small the central module was: really, my iPhone is bigger. Still, I had read several comments speaking of how easy this was to read. They were right. It is VERY easy to read.

No more clutter on my dresser from the three screens (one large, two small). Now I have one small screen on my dressor and I can easily read it from my recliner (I watch TV in my bedroom). Each sensor has its own screen showing the temperature and humidity. I have all of them hanging freely rather than being velcroed/command stripped/screwed to the wall. The accuracy of the reading is better without the direct...
