Maveric: I've had a few different trail cams and they all seem to be tricky to learn how to use effectively. The Alpha Cam was easier and could be managed without really needing the manual. Video quality is also better than my other cams. So all in all happy with the camera

pchunterpa: Very easy to use, setting up the camera is very simple and takes less than a minute to go through all the settings. Takes really nice day and night photos. Have been using six of these cameras none stop for several months now have captured thousands of pictures and the batteries are still going strong. Would definitely recommend.

E. Burke: Alphacam continues to be one of my best trail cameras (I now own three). The videos are crisp and the sensors are quick to pick up on animals. I purchased this dual cam, no glow version and so far out of the box, it's taking video as it should. If that changes, I will come back and amend my review.

PA HunterPA Hunter: I have been waiting for a Cell Camera with dual lense capability and No Glow flash. I finally got tired of waiting and decided to make my own. I am using a Cell Link adapter (I mounted in the box) and this camera to effectively create a completely silent cell camera that also doesn't show a flash when it goes off at night. This camera takes the same 5.5x2.1mm barrel plug as the Cell Link so I can run both off the same solar/battery setup. I have two cameras like this and both are still running great and not losing the date/time I set months ago running only on the external jack. The cameras take amazing quality photos and despite being black out flash provide thr best and brightest nighttime photos of any of my cameras.

This is a top notch camera and at $99 is a steal.

Kona Don: The Alpha Cam is solidly built and makes a good seal when the latch is closed, keeping out moisture. LCD screen is very readable and the set-up is straight forward. Daytime photos and videos are great. The nighttime shots are also good. The support staff is first rate. They replied to my questions (there were many) the same day I asked.

Tips: The User Guide Manual may be hard to read for some because of the small print. You can download the User Guide Manual (ACDL) as a PDF file from the Alphacamhunt.com website for much better readability. The Alpha Cam has a USB port that will accept a USB cable to transfer photos/videos to a PC. You can insert a small padlock at the bottom of the latch mechanism, that will make it difficult for anyone to open the cam.

Update 11/17/21: Sad to write this but the cam died on June 2021, purchased on January 2021. Located under a roof overhang to protect it from rain, sun, etc. Cam worked great for a while but just died on its own. Batteries were in good condition when last used earlier in June. Have to lower the rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.
