E. Grabowski: I just received this item today. I used it to test a string of Xmas lights that a customer brought back to the store claiming it was defective. They were all good. The customer probably didn't want the item. Works easily on both the bulbs and fuses.

David A.: I tested this and it works just like it should. I have not used the bulb remover, but that is not a big concern for me, because if that does not work good I can use a small screwdriver. I do not know why some people have left a bad review, but this works great for me.

I bought a different voltage tester before I got this one, and I had to return the other one, because it did not work good at all. This one is a definite keeper for me, because it works very good. It has a light on the tip when it detects voltage and a audible beep.

I hope I can now fix those pesky light sets that go out, especially net light sets.

Rose: This tester helped me easily identify a few burnt out bulbs, restoring several strings of lights to their former glory. Unfortunately, the bulb remover portion is rather weak. It would not stay out by itself, and when I tried to use it while holding the button to keep it out, the button broke off completely. Luckily I had an alternate bulb remover device on hand so this was not an immediate issue for me

G-Dub: Good for testing bulbs and fuses. The ‘bulb remover’ is infuriating; it simply has too small a diameter to catch mini bulb sockets for removal and ther detention is nearly non existent - it slips back into the body of the unit with minimal pressure. The AC current detector is too sensitive to use on pre-lit trees or wreaths, it starts beeping too far away from the wires - you can’t tell if the wire you are testing sets it off or a wire on an adjacent limb. Cannot recommend.

P. Calverley: This is a good product for your inside Christmas lights, but, not for outside Christmas lights, there is no way to test them on this product. The Bulb tester is for inside lightbulbs only.

John G Lashley: Just wasn’t the best item the slide out probe to pull out the lights slides back in when you push it against the base of the lights…. The sensitivity of the unit has it screeching as you approach the tree so you have to turn it down to one click above off and then you keep getting false dead bulbs not the best

Oscar: ONLY one of the functions worked and it ended up breaking completely after 30 seconds. What China trash. No Leds worked, no sound, the bulb removal function broke off. It’s just absolutely trash garbage.
