Timewaster: These are not common batteries. Don't remember what I paid for them, but they could have charged me 3/4 of the price I paid and given me 2 instead of 5 and I would have been just as happy.

Wild Bill: Only problem is that they arrived with only one year shelf life left. That’s a problem considering they are guaranteed for only 3 years.

PrompterGuy: I was reluctant to stray away from the big name batteries but I'm really glad I did.
I never got the duration the big names always claim and their prices keep going up and up so I took the plunge. I'll be staying with the Allmax batteries as I see no difference in performance and they are a very reasonable price.

velocity boy: Just received these today. Tested the voltage first thing. Four of the five showed 12.63V with one at 12.64V. I read on a battery forum that a fresh A23 should read about 12.4V so these are even a little better and very consistent across the five cells. Best Before date on mine is DEC 2023 and with their claimed shelf life being three years that means that mine were made just over six months ago. I'd say that's fair enough. All good signs so far, hopefully they last a long time too.
