Gemma Guy: Despite being sold on the Australian website this is not compatible in Australia and needs a serious amount of work to get it connected appropriately. Amazon have failed to mention this at all in their description that this is the US version of the product with no adaptations made.

BRENDA: Have been wanting a good waffle makers for some time looking different stores found this All Clad Waffle Maker on Amazon order one received it in just a few days Have been making some of the best pecan waffles there's nothing I don't like about it's all stainless steel so glad I purchase it didn't even mind the price because this is a excellent product

Kindle Customer: I bought a waffle and pancake mix from the store to try my new waffle maker out. Something in the reviews was very on point. You have to experiment a little to see how high to set the heat to get the kind of exterior and interior you like without ending up with hockey pucks. I've moved ours up to 6, which might be too high. You need to spread the mix around a bit to make sure it covers the bottom of each burner or your waffles won't come out as squares. When it signalled it was ready, I just opened it up and removed four delicious waffles. There wasn't really anythiing to clean except the runoff catcher in the back and just wiping off the grid and exterior. This only matters if you overfill, and there are clear divisioins on the grid that show you when to stop. I'm very happy with this product.

Kailani50Kailani50: I’d been craving waffles for a few weeks & made a batch right away when this arrived! It took less batter than you’d think for each Belgian waffle - about 1/3 cup. I spread it to the corners quickly and set the doness to 6. The waffles came out perfect! Crisp outside and tender inside. I greased with butter prior to the first batch and didn’t need to do it again. I got 8 waffles from this batch & froze the extras. I love having 2 ready at a time so no one has to wait while the other person is eating already! I hope it continues to work this well for years!

In pursuit of replicating the perfect Waffle House waffles at home, we identified a few critical components: the recipe (half-and-half + buttermilk, along with butter + shortening, are key), the waffle style (thin / American style, with lots of little syrup holes -- WH has 7 on the inner edges of each quarter), waffle texture (crispy on the outside, tender on the inside), and syrup (WH Twitter indicates that they source their branded syrup from Blackburn in Texas -- we ordered this from Amazon, but my family seems to think the original Blackburn syrup is NOT the right one, so we'll have to keep exploring on that front). The actual WH iron is the Wells WB-1E, which looks to be running well over a thousand dollars ... so we were hoping to be able to get close with a consumer-level iron. After some research, the best available options seem to be this All-Clad Stainless Steel Classic Round Waffle Maker, the Breville BWM520XL No-Mess Waffle Maker (roughly the same price), and the Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker (at 1/5 the cost).

The All Clad seemed to get slightly better reviews than the Breville across...

Daniel Rutkowski: Waffle maker looked very sturdy but alas is only 110V and not 110-250V like ost appliances so had to return it. Glad I read the manual before plugging it in. The website should mention this fact - not suitable to use in Australia.

engineer9876543: My old Toastmaster Waffle Baker (442A) needed to be replaced. It makes a classic 7 inch round American-style waffle, and had been purchased in 1987. Would have preferred to either fix it (DIY) or buy another one just like it. However, could I could not find any (new electrical) replacement parts, and could not find any new Toastmaster waffle makers like my old one. For over a half century, most small appliance manufacturers have refused to sell any replacement parts to Do-It-Yourself (DIY) handyman types. They want you to ship failed products back to them for service and spend overly priced parts & labor costs. Most manufacturers will not even provide any cost estimate until after you have sent them your failed unit. So in most cases, it is cheaper to throw out the failed product and buy a new one.

[All flip style waffle makers were rejected because this is just a bulky and un-useful feature and having no real benefit for home units. The flip design may be of some use/help with some commercial waffle makers having very high temperature heating elements with extremely fast cooking times.]

I wanted to get another waffle maker that makes a classic round waffle...
