Karen E.: This is a very nice and well made soft cone but even the smallest size was too big for 5 pound Chihuahua. She stepped on it and fell.
Didn’t work for my tiny pup but looks like it would be great for a taller small dog. My Chi has short legs and thin neck which makes it difficult to find anything that fits her.

Lin's opinion: This item was cute but was way too small for my 26 lb Corgi. From the description the medium should have fit…too late to order the large, she’s healing nicely from her surgery. Returning item.

Joy: Bought this for my 6 month old dachshund puppy. He was neutered and hind few claw’s removed. Terrible cone for long bodied dogs, definitely not long enough, he could easily reach his bandaged areas, have been on constant watch to ensure he doesn’t lick! He also pushes into it while playing and it easily flaps out of place to where it is now more of a stiff cape than a cone. It’s been an exhausting two weeks! Only positive, it’s soft and comfortable to sleep.

Debbie: My husky had surgery on her ACL. She came home with a huge plastic cone. When trying to eat, the food would go all over the floor. The water dish would be moved when she was drinking, spilling water all over. The plastic cone was very bulky and would get in her way in whatever she tried to do. This cone solved her problems. Wearing this cone, allowed her to eat, drink, and also allowed her to hold her dog bone treats with her paws. The cone is a little shorter so she was able to hold her treats without my help. She slept well with it on and we did not have an issue with cleanup. My husky has a 15 in. neck and I purchased the XXL because of other reviews. This XXL fit her perfectly. Not too tight and not to loose. So remember, as cute and wonderful as this collar is, it does run small; so measure your pets neck and pay attention to the sizing chart. "We" recommend this collar.

BLHuxley: This cone worked well for my shih tzu although I could have gone one size smaller. His neck is about 11.5 inches. The velcro is wide enough to snug it up. What I really appreciate about it is there is no need for a collar or ties to attach it to as there are no loops at the neck like you would find on a plastic type cone...easy on, easy off.
The cone has stiffness to it and totally prevents my little guy from accessing any body part. I put it in the washing machine in cold water, gentle cycle - so far, so good. I'd buy another if necessary.

Vanessa nobrega: Loved this pet cone worked amazingly for my dog. He had a plastic cone from
the vet which was really uncomfortable for him. I decided to give this one a try and was very happy with the result he was sleeping more comfortably with it. The only thing I’d change is the velcro maybe put the softer part of the velcro strip on the inside because the cone does move a bit so it may rub a little bit against the pets neck.

Amazon Customer: It arrived on time and size seem to be correct. It is heavier than the plastic model but my dog didn’t mind it at all, he even sleep with it on without any complains. I tried it on my dog today and he seem to like it, as if he was already used to it...it’s super easy to put on or take off, the large size was perfect for my dog which is a medium size Poodle about 30lb with a long neck and about 13” Neck Circumference. Very satisfied and absolutely deserves more than 5 stars. In fact this is simply one of my best purchase on Amazon. I’ll get one more to keep in the car or for when traveling. Many tnx to whom ever designed and made this thing. Note, this is obviously not really made to use in heavy rain.

carrie acarrie a: I bought two of these (to change in case one got dirty) to keep my 5 month old Savannah from licking his sutures after being neutered. So here's the short of it...He was not a fan of the sound of the Velcro, and loosing his peripheral vision caused him to startle easy. The small collar wasn't tight enough to properly fit around his neck, he got it off multiple times. It also seems too heavy for him, his head hangs when he walks and it's hits against his front legs.

I got this collar with good intentions, thinking "my poor baby has to have this awful thing on for two weeks!" Stupid me, I should have stuck with what the vet gave me to use. His area is now raw and possibly infected from one night of unsupervised licking. Heading back to the vet today to get another plastic cone and probably some antibiotics and ointment. 👌

And yes, I will be returning in case you were still wondering.

April EllaApril Ella: Worked Great! Soft and comfortable for my puppy who was really scared of the plastic one the vet gave her. She was able to eat and drink and sleep flat on the ground without being disturbed by a plastic tapping noise anywhere her head touched. She grew out of it quite quickly but I would recommend for sensitive dogs. It does get Dirty quite quickly but I threw it in the wash (We bought red so we washed alone, good thing we did cause color seemed to fade at least 50%) but still managed to keep its form and the Velcro still worked. Plus my dog looked adorable in it.
