This anchor was designed for use with PWC’s. A lake friend put me onto it and I use it with my Tri-toon when in shallow water for short periods of time. I purchased some rope from HD with carabiner clips to create a “Y” shaped line with which I anchor this too.
The one downside is watch your step. I’ve kicked this item a few times in shallow water and it stings a bit. Get you an old bike flag to mark this anchor in the water and you’ve solved that problem.
This anchor works great and is functional for both boats and PWC’s.

Dont listen to the hate. I was at the lake all day yesterday and used one of these to hold my 2020 waverunner. It held the ski just fine and dug into the sand nicely. I pulled on the rope and it was solidly biting the sand. I did buy 2 for when I want to leave it just offshore over night. One is perfectly fine when you’re just hanging at the sandbar or beach. Very nice not having to drag your ski onto the sand. Can’t beat it for the price.

I saw many 5 star reviews saying it would hold jet skis and saw many 1 star reviews saying it would not hold jet skis. It made me very skeptical so I decided I would buy 2 for my jet ski instead of one. After using them at my local sandbar near my beach, I can say that they hold jet skis perfectly fine, water wasn't completely calm either. If you are going to use them for salt water, I recommend you get 2 instead of one.

We bought some SeaDoo's this summer and were trying to use just normal metal anchors which barely did anything. Our SeaDoo's were constantly drifting away. A friend said to try these out and I bought 2 of them. Once you screw them all the way they are solid. I tried tugging on one to get it out and wasn't able, I had to unscrew it. These will work great the next time we go to the ocean because even though we launch and chill behind the jetty's but there's still some waves from boats and ships coming through the harbor. We went to the river last weekend with a strong current and the SeaDoo's never moved from their spot the whole weekend.

These work well in lakes at calm coves or calm water, had no issues however I used them in Laughlin at the river. Current was moving south and due to all the jetski's and choppy water, anchors came out of ground several times had to use heavy rocks to keep coil in the ground.
