I bought these for a small family reunion and I placed one on each table of the 3 tables and DID NOT keep bugs away or zap them as described.

This thing is small. Good for a tent i think. I got it to go to a primatiave cabin on a lake. The light works well. The zapper works but dobt expect to zap alot of bugs. It just doesnt trougg off enought light in zapper mode. I can say it works though... i had european hornets in my app. A nest of them dug there way through the drywall when i was away on the camping trip. I set this thing out in my living room overnight and to my suprise it killed at least 5 of those big ass bees. Being their so big and the slots are small i had to tweezer the carcases out of it. So its got power for bugs it just doesnt atract them to well if there is otger lights on. Like i said small tent at nite would prob work ok. The rechargable light is worth it the zapper is a bonus if itll keep the bugs from biting.

This is a great little camping light and bug zapper all in one. It is lightweight and easy to use. The light has different brightness modes, and actually goes pretty bright. It easily hangs in a tent or from a lantern pole. So far it has held up to multiple camping trips and a rain storm.
