Mr. Reviewer: I can say it’s a good product after using it now few times. It’s light weight and durable but a little bulky to pack while traveling. It will not fit in a carry-on 24” or the medium size 27” luggage box. Otherwise, it would get my five stars for this review.

NickW: When you are trekking, for hours you need a tool that does not irritate, otherwise, a simple problem becomes a mjor irritation. That's the problem with these poles. Sure, they seem a good buy at first glance but problems begin to surface almost immediately.
The strap are difficult to tighten as they use a simple rubber bung to act as a friction brake. This simply does not work and the straps come lose. It would not be difficult for them to use the standard arrangement whereby a levered grip on the handle locks the straps in place. Without this, your walking is spoiled.
I also noted that the clasps on the shafts would work their way loose. You only need one to be lost and your stick are useless - they need better locking nuts.
I also found that on soft dry grass/mud, there is no shock absorption, and again, after a number of miles or minutes, you start cursing the lack of any shock absorption.
The sticks come from China and while I have no qualms about that, I note that the return address is in the States - so it's going to be a long time to get my money back.
All in all, despite the carbon fibre and the relatively good deal for these sticks, my impression was that...

musiclover2000: These are very sturdy. The adustments hold tight when you follow the instructions and the extra tips are great. We've only lost one of the original tips after daily use for a year. They add a level of stability to a senior while walking.

Jeffrey Goodwin: Takes a couple minutes to adjust to your height when you first get them, carbon fiber, is incredibly strong, and yet also very light. They look great, and are comfortable and easy to use. They also club with a very convenient and quality carrying bag. Had a bunch of accessories to help you depending on what your use is. I personally need something like this to get around town, so for me, they are every day, but I’m thinking about going on a short hike with them also next Saturday. Don’t let the price deceive you, this is a great value for what you get. I am actually thinking about getting a second pair so I could always have one in my car and also always have one at my house, so wherever I’m going from I have it. I am not working with or related to the company in anyway, I am an ordinary consumer in Oregon.

Flick: I returned my other ones because I didn’t like the clips that security extensions. This one has good solid clips

Pat Boeckler: Having used several trek sticks over the years, I will give you an honest informative review. I won't go into the technical specs, you can read them on your own, I will say the are super light and strong in every aspect. Cork is best for comfort and grip IMO over foam or rubber. These sticks exceed their price...quality materials, design and craftsmanship. You could pay up to three times the price for poles of equal or lesser quality. One key point is the aluminum lock levers. Many more expensive brands are using plastic which breaks in the long run. All materials are exceptional, fit and finish are perfect on the ones I received. Even the bag is of the highest quality.

Many of you may or may not know competitors selling similar or lesser quality products have trolls who buy competitors products, purposely break them, leave bad reviews/photo's and return them. Others will just honestly use them improperly, causing issues. So trust me when I say these are the best, lightest, well crafted, best priced compared to others that are far more expensive. Often times buyers believe if something costs more, it's better, not completely true. Just the sellers trying to make more...
