It's probably closer to 3 and a half stars. I don't think I would buy it again. It's cute and more of a novelty item.

AuroraAurora: So I know 99. 9% of owners have thin or schmedium cats, mine is a XXL at a whopping 22lbs at 1 year and 9 mos. No he is not overfed only 1/3 cup 2x daily and the good shit too, grain free. He is just "Thick" and muscular, like a beer belly, it is hard. Not like my OG cat who dusts my floor; his jiggler wobbles. This cat Klaus is like that tall kid in school who grew too fast, was uncoordinated and couldn't play basketball! Klaus is clumsy and rarely lands on his feet, plays too rough not realizing his size. Now for the sizing, we let him outside for some exercise and he tried to play with a cat 🐈 who didn't want to play and lost. The cat bit him on his rump shaker and we needed to keep him from licking it, I did the measuring, read reviews, measured, doubted myself and ordered. I ordered the Medium and to my suprise he is a size it fit. It has to s of rrom for adjustability. The quality is great and it was easy to put on, I am not dissapointed and he has now ceased being a Rump licker! Neck 9 inches, Chest 16.5, Belly 23 inches, Length 16.5, weight 22lbs. He is the kindest most loving lug, he just thinks everyone wants to play and be his friend! Hope this helped you make your...

Makeba lake: Took me forever to review this because shortly after the purchase my cat passed away</3 it’s been hard :( This thing did help a bit but he still came out of it a couple times when I wasn’t paying attention. It did what it’s supposed to and it even allowed me to treat the wounds and it wasn’t to big over his whole head and body.

KirilKiril: I really like this product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a softer and more comfortable alternative to a traditional plastic cone.
With this product, my cat is able to go about her day normally! This cone does not obstruct her view so she does not bump into walls like it was with her plastic one. She is able to eat normally and use her litter box. It is also soft so she is comfy during her sleep. Now when she is recovering from her spaying surgery, she can play and even jump without any problems so I assume it is not heavy for her as I thought it would be.
The adjustable strand is really good too and hold very well. My cat has been wearing it for over a week now and I can say the quality is great. And also it is super cute!!!

JSJS: This product is definitely better than the e-collar. My kitty couldn't move, eat, and use the litter properly with the e-collar, but she seems to be MUCH more comfortable with this soft cushion collar because it isn't blocking her vision or getting caught in tight spaces or walls. She also likes to use it as a little pillow when she sleeps. Also, she looks adorable! HOWEVER, It hasn't even been a day since I received this and my cat has already made holes in it when she was scratching herself. So, this isn't made of the best material. The adjustment ropes also came very frayed, so I had to tie it. My cat still has 12 more days to wear this, I'm not sure what it's going to look like by the end of it.

EJEJ: The seam is cracked after two days of use. I have to stitch it back. My cat hate it and took it off on the first night and I made it a little bit tighter then he cannot get off for now. He is still trying though. We will see if it stays. (My cat is 12 lbs)
Update after five days: He is not able to take it off after I made it tighter. But the issue is that his surgery suture is on his lower back, and he can still reach it. If your pet have surgery suture near tail or lower back, you might want to find other cone which is wider.

Carsen Yates: My cat has a skin condition that causes her to lick parts of her skin raw that flares up during random times of the year and recently it had been more difficult to treat (girl was determined!) so alongside her usual sprays and ointments I decided to try this to keep her from reaching some of the areas and licking off any medication that’s been applied. I feel awful every time I have to use a regular cone for her but this is a godsend! She’s comfortable and seems completely unbothered by it when it’s on, being able to eat, drink, sleep, and walk around without wiggling side to side to be able to see her peripheral. Not to mention SO adorable!! Our little strawberry girl is doing a lot better with this.
The only downside is it does get a bit dirty throughout the course of a few days and cleaning it can be tricky - it won’t get very clean using the washing machine and if you use that it will have to be wrung out and air dried. The second time we cleaned it we used the sink and dawn soap to hand wash it. It will still soak up more water than seems physically possible but we squeezed the majority of the water out with a towel and let it air dry and it was ready to go...

Kim EKim E: I knew my picky girl would never stand for being in anything foreign to her unless she was presented with a worse alternative first. So for that reason, I also let the vet sell me the plastic cone, and let my poor stitched up babe trot around miserably in that for the first 36 hours after her spaying. It was awful, she dragged it around on the floor, got caught on everything, couldn't pick her head up with it on, and just looked so sad. So after the first day, I decided it was time to relieve her of her plastic ball and chain and outfit her with this strawberry cone I'd found to be the best in terms of a consistent width all around to keep her from getting to her stitches.
She was a bit wobbly with it at first, and I also really had to tighten the drawstring since she's small and this is made for most sized cats. But she quickly perked up, was able to lift her head up again, and actually was able to eat her food (we had one incident where she dipped the bottom of it into her wet food bowl, but it proved very easy to clean off with some water and soap!).
Over the 2 or so weeks she has had it on, I occasionally let her out of the strawberry when she was trying to scratch her...

Amazon Customer: We got this as a comfy alternative to the terrible plastic cone we got from the vets when our cat got neutered. It's super cute and our cat enjoyed using it except when he was in full-energy mode where he would try to take it off.
If you are getting this cone to prevent your cat from trying to lick its surgery spot, this cone does not always prevent that from happening. The Top and bottom of this strawberry neck pillow are the perfect thickness to prevent undesirable licking, but if the cone is positioned on its side under your cats chin, he will be able to lick his surgery spot! So it works to a certain extent

Jellypii: I use these comfy cute collars for my cat when she is out on the balcony. She can fit through the balcony divider and with this on, she can't go through the gap. It super helpful so she can enjoy the fresh air of the balcony without being on a leash. It doesn't bother her too much but I wished I had gotten a circular one instead of the strawberry so the weight is more even for her when she walks. She is supervised on the balcony while she has this collar on.
