It is very good quality and very cute. We had to stand on it at the same time to hang the art work and it didn’t even shake. I used 8 inch foam mattresses from Costco on the top and the bottom. I absolutely love it. Very nice!

Shay of NYShay of NY: Let me tell you, you can do this set-up by yourself, however, be patient, and have a few hours to chill at a nice leisurely pace. There is hundreds parts to put together, but intuitive with aid of instructions. Simply follow the instructions, and the images and you will succeed. If you zoom in pic of the top part of bed you will see each slat has a plug on side. You have 44 slats between top part of bed and trundle, plus 2 plugs per slat. Then you have plastic two slot rings that go on center of each slat, then a plastic arm brace that you hook to each plastic ring. So, yeah hundreds of parts. They provided all the tools, and extra parts, and everything is properly labeled. Make sure you rails for the slats have large longer slot on top, so pay attention to instructions. You won't be winging this one I tell ya lol. While they provided the tools needed, I grabbed my drill with the proper allen head size bit and it made life easier.
I will say there was a slight discoloring on one end rail, but I faced it against wall.
It seems very sturdy.
Grab your drink, grab your own drill if you have it, turn on some tunes, and just get into the zen of it lol
Worth it.

StephanieStephanie: Shipping was good, no damage to box or product. Now for the bed, it's beautiful! It went together easily, my husband had the bed almost together on his OWN by the time I got back from dropping my granddaughter at school. So half an hour by himself and bed was almost done! Good instructions for assembly and could be done by one person if needed. We think the bed will be sturdy as it seems to be well made. As you can see from the picture we don't have the full matress yet, so will update if the bed is not all we think it will be.

Kindle Customer: its a nice looking bed. the installation of the upper bed is well engineered, the spindle underneath is not. kinda cheap screws down below. its a bit hassle to do by yourself, and even with another person its alot of bending over for extended times. if you have back problems or hand problems it hurts. there are alot of parts, alot. so pull up a chair and relax and it will be over soonish.

looks are nice, however ifyou use any kind of pillows it will cover all the grill work. i got the full and kinda wish i hadnt as it looks weird as a daybed, its almost as big as a queen.

updated:
meh, hubby hates the bed as its difficult to make as you have to manually lift the back corners to fit the sheet on. the roll out bed is a waste as its not very comfortable and I would hate to put someone on it other than dogs, which we bought it for lol, for that reason its a nice thing. as i said earlier, for a daybed the full size mattress is very offputting, it juts out so far, looks weird. i wish i hadnt of bought it and stayed with a regular full bed or gone for a twin daybed with no trundle. that said, the upper part and mattress I got for it is still very comfortable.

E: I work in a hospital and was [politely] exiled to the other part of the house to protect my medically vulnerable family members from COVID exposure. When it became clear that COVID was here to stay, I realized sleeping on a stack of mattress toppers was not a sustainable long-term solution. So, I bought a bed.

I chose this bed because ideally it can be used in the future as some kind of guest bed (whenever that’s safe again). Also because I figured I could use the bottom/trundle for non-bed seating, because it was becoming progressively clearer that the rec room was going to be my studio/dorm (and the geometry wouldn’t allow for a loft bed like in a real dorm room).

Anyway, the instructions were simple and straightforward. The pictures were understandable. All tools and hardware were included, AND were packaged based on what they were for (the trundle hardware was in a separate package from that of the main bed assembly), which was cool.

All in all, I’m happy with my purchase. This trundle bed is cute, easy for a single person to assemble (also LOUD to assemble! But that’s expected, everything is metal), and helps me feel a bit more like COVID...
