The AccuMed Baby Scale is the perfect choice for parents looking for a reliable and accurate way to measure their baby's weight and height. With a blue backlight, this multi-function toddler scale offers precise readings and a sturdy construction. With its superior accuracy, value for money, sturdiness, and overall performance, the AccuMed Baby Scale is the best choice for parents looking for a reliable and affordable way to track their baby's growth. Janet: Got this because the other scale we had didn't seem to be especially accurate, and boy howdy - we are very happy with this one. Weighed the baby a few days before an appointment and it matched what he came up as at the doctor's office. I'll consider that a win!
The tray to put the baby on can be a bit of a pain to hold together if you're also trying to hold your kid, but that's easy to just set one or the other down to reassemble. I wish the tray was able to be longer than 24" since my bub popped out at 21" but that would be a pretty unwieldy tray if it were any bigger.

Cheyenne S: I bought this scale to monitor breastfeeding intake before and after feedings for my 4 month old daughter. The scale is simple and straight forward to use. Assembly was easy and I had no worries once the twist locks under the scale were snug. We have it set up on a surface that I'll regularly use the scale without moving it so I can keep measurements consistent. We've also placed a small hand towel on the scale to help with comfort since laying on a plastic surface can be uncomfortable and induce more wiggling-the scale automatically tares when it's turned in so the towel doesn't register in her measurement. If she does start to move around a lot, the "hold" function is nice (this just holds the measurement at the time you press the button so your can read a number rather than eyeballing an average).
Scales will have some variance when you compare them but in case anyone was curious, this one was reading about 0.5 oz lighter than what was at my pediatrician's office.
I do find myself habitually pressing once to turn it off (the function tares the scale) rather than a long press (which actually turns the scale off). It'll be something I have to remember with use.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The AccuMed baby scale is a slick and lightweight scale that looks great in the nursery. The packaging is nice and compact, with 2 pieces that assemble into the tray, plus the scale itself. Because the tray comes in 2 pieces, it can be easily taken apart and stored without taking up much room. I like that I can weigh my baby in kg, lb, and oz. This oz option allows me to weigh my baby before and after nursing to see how much he drank. To test the accuracy of the scale, I also weighed my baby before and after a bottle feeding session and his weight gain in oz matched the amount he drank. The hold button is a great function that the scale has to get the average weight of my baby as he is never still when placed on the scale.
I would have liked it even better if the scale comes in a lb + oz option since that’s how the pediatrician’s office and baby apps track the weight. I also noticed that the oz jumps in 0.5 increments each time. If it could be changed to a 0.1 oz precision, that would help in tracking the amount my baby drinks. Lastly, even though the tray can be used for measuring the length of a baby, it is on the short side (up to 24”). My four month old is already...

E. Graham: I received this product as a product tester and have used it multiple times with my daughter who is 6 months old, as well as I have used it myself without the scale tray attached. I compared the weight to another scale I had, as well as to the weight when my daughter went in for a well-check and the weight seemed accurate. The instructions were clear, and the tray was easy to install. I also like that you can remove the tray to make the usage more flexible. I love that it had a tare option, which I've only ever seen on a kitchen scale, and that you could switch between measuring pounds, ounces, and kilos. The quality of the plastic was high and it was easy to wipe down and clean off.
The main downside to the AccuMed Baby Scale was the length of the tray. The picture provided on the Amazon page makes it seem that the scale is much longer in comparison to the infant (who looks several months old in the picture). The tray is 23 1/2 inches long. My daughter was 19 inches long at birth, which is an average birth length. By the time she hit two months, she was 23 inches, which would be where the tray would top out of being able to measure her. Now at six months old, she is 27...

Cumin: Matches what my pediatrician’s office scale reports when we bring the baby in. Pretty sturdy too.
