Tom: This scale has a large surface so that I can easily get an accurate reading on my ~9lbs cat. Highly recommend.

John: Scale works. Not medical grade by any means, but it does give you an at home option for checking the weight of your baby.

Jessica: This scale stopped functioning after about a month. The display no longer turns on. I reached out to the company, who were quick to respond and advise they would send out a replacement. Just waiting for it to arrive now.

tammy rogers: Very accurate I have two Pomeranians and two cats and I monitor their weight with the scale and it works perfectly. It’s big enough to put them on and they don’t get nervous about standing on it. I have a 22 pound cat a 17 pound cat and 216 pound large Pomeranians, any other dog or cat that’s bigger than that I would suggest a bigger scale, the smaller the area for them to stand on they get nervous and they won’t stand still, but since puppies, and since kittens, I have taught my animals to be weighed so this works perfect for me, but if your animals are jumpy it might not work for you unless you get a bigger scale

Kathy: It works well, but it would be better if it weren’t so flat. My baby moves a lot on it but it still records the weight. I weigh her twice to check the accuracy. I have not tried using a blanket or pad underneath.

Stephen101Stephen101: Nearly did not buy this scale because its Amazon page erroneously claims the "scale accuracy" is 0.1kg and that's almost a full 1/4 pound! That would make this scale worthless for my purposes. Fortunately the SELLER clarified in one of the Q&A's that the accuracy is instead 10 grams; giving me something specific to work with that also sounded more realistic. But how does 10 gram accuracy translate into something useful to understand when using the scale in one of it's three weight-measuring modes: fractional kg's; fraction lb's; or lb-oz's with fractional oz's?
Here's what I calculated and then observed: 1st by mathematical calculation and 2nd by using the scale to see if my calculations were accurate. In other words, does the SELLER's claim of 10 gram accuracy agree with what happens when I use the scale? First the calculations:
10 grams = 10 g / 1000 g/kg = .01 kg
10 grams = 10 g / 454 g/lb = .02 lb
10 grams = 10 g / 454 g/lb x 16 oz/lb = .35 oz
These accuracies all sound reasonable and "accurate-enough" for my purposes (if verified by scale use) for accurately monitoring the weight of my beloved senior kitty named Bootsie (bless her sweet...

A. Chao: When I first took this out of the box, one of the feet stuck out more than the others, as such, the scale didn't sit flat. Other than that it worked fine. Since the screws were clearly accessible from the bottom, I merely opened up the bottom to have a look to see if I could resolve the problem or if I had to send it back.
Turns out one of the load cells wasn't seated correctly in its spot. It was sitting on top of a retaining clip rather than being retained by that clip. So all I had to do was gently pull back on the clip so the load cell could sit flat in its spot, and close everything back up, and all is well. Don't get this wrong, this thing is made to be as low cost as possible, metal screws directly going into plastic holes, two retaining clips per load cell, it is not designed to be passed down generations. But then again, it is only $40.
I've been using this scale on my baby for about a week and it works fine. The tare weight function is useful, so if you have your baby all dressed and diapered, you can just use the tare weight function with some similar clothing and diaper, and not to have to strip the poor baby nekkid in order to weight...

Christopher Barrett: This was a really good scale for those early days with an infant where you still really need to monitor weight. It's functional and helps to remove a lot of the guesswork, and consequently, the worry.
