B and B: Totally legit. Our bedroom is on the far side of the house opposite the furnace. For 15 years it’s been cold in our bedroom. No longer!! Put this in (4x10) and replaced the current vent. It fit like a glove, took me about 20 seconds, is quite solid, and feels heavy duty. The controls are dead simple. When the furnace comes on, this does too and it pulls air warm air in from the vent. Brilliant, easy, perfect!!

J. Colfax: This surprisingly did help a room get more AC. The fan is somewhat loud at the higher levels however, and the cord is quite ugly if you aren't able to hid it under a carpet or something. Gets the job done without anything drastic, but some drawbacks in loudness/visual appearance.

The setup is a little confusing as well, but if you read the manual careful it makes sense.

Amazon Customer: We had air flow problems with A/C reaching top floors when it was really hot. These air vents work fantastic and now our family complains it is too cold in bedrooms. You can hear them on top speed but we generally just set them at an 7-8 speed which is not noisy.

Querty: I have a 10x4 duct over a pellet stove, runs 25ft in the basement drop ceiling up to a 12x6 floor register on the 2nd floor hallway. I turned the fans around on this model and installed it on the intake side, and installed another 12x6 airtap unit on the 12x6 floor register. So one sucks and one blows and it works. If the fans last three years it will be worth it, i will buy backup units for sustainability. Low power consumption these are just big computer fans nothing crazy

Freda Crake: use this product to boost heated air through the house. Just bought them time will tell how well they work.

Ken S: Ihave a cold bedroom, its the furthest way from the furnace. it dose pull extra heat out the vent ,but anything above 7 is getting quite noisy. well have to wait till it gets good and cold to see if it will keep the room warm

Kathlyn: My bedroom is at the back of the house and always stays warmer in the summer and colder in the winter than the rest of the house. With the extreme heat this summer I needed something more than my ceiling fan and standing fan to help keep the room feeling comfortable. This has done the job brilliantly! I got a little confused when setting the trigger temperature and was able to get immediate assistance using the company's online chat support. The thing to remember is that the temperature gauge is at the bottom of the vent fan booster. It will tell you the temperature of the air inside the vent. I watched a few times to see what the booster temperature was at when the house AC kicked on and then set my trigger temperature based on that. I chose to set mine at about 4 degrees lower than what the temperature was showing when the air conditioning turned on. As an example, my AC is set at 80 degrees. When it hit 80 and the air conditioning turned on, the booster temperature was showing to be at 74 degrees. I set the booster trigger temperature to 69 degrees. When the air blowing out hit 69, the fan would kick on and stay running even after the AC turned off. The booster continues to...

Laura: AC Infinity AIRTAP T4, Quiet Register Booster Fan with Thermostat Control. Heating Cooling. This register fan takes all the guesswork out of improving ventilation in a distant room. Like a lot of people, everywhere I've lived there has been 1 room that just won't stay cool in summer or warm in winter. For me it's always been the room farthest from the HVAC unit. If the homebuilders paid attention, they would increase the ventilation and return to those farthest rooms. In this case, adding another register is too much work because of access under the floor. A window unit is expensive and difficult to install. We've been using space heaters and fans to adjust the room temperature. I got this Airtap unit and just pulled out the old register and dropped this one into the hole. It fit perfectly. After connecting the power supply, it was really easy to program the Airtap. Seriously, unlike many things you buy that are imported with directions written by a computer or non-English speaking person, these directions are CLEAR, CONCISE, and VERY EASY TO FOLLOW! The beauty of this fan is that it only turns on when the AC is running. The fan has 10 speeds, and at 10 it is still quieter than...

PetePete: UPDATE AUG/2023
After a successful pilot, I've purchased an additional two more for other rooms in need of additional airflow. Still a solid 5/5!

TL;DR some things don't have to be "smart" to accomplish it's purpose. 100% highly recommended.

Our AC unit does not provide adequate cooling in certain rooms, hence the need for a booster register/vent.

I am 100% pro "smart" anything and have several devices connected to Google Home for automations... Naturally I wanted a register that could also be connected to Google but was surprised to see there weren't too many options.

Flair is just way too expensive (not to mention the added shipping cost to Canada) and I tried the so-called 'smart' vent from Smart Cocoon but that experience was HORRIBLE and begrudgingly returned them (my review is here: https://www.amazon.ca/product-reviews/B07YHYCTW7/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_viewopt_srt?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews&sortBy=recent&pageNumber=1).

I figured I'd give it one more try with this register and while there's no Wi-Fi connectivity, I was intrigued by the idea of the fan being activated by the cooling/heat sensors when the AC/furnace...

MV: Works well. Quiet below 7 but I need it there at certain times of day. But that leads to where they can and should easily improve the product by adding wifi connectivity. Needing to go behind the sofa to change the speed a few times a day in my office is annoying. I’ve got wifi to adjust my pool and lights and so many other electronics, why wouldn’t they add wifi functionality to these as well. Not a huge cost lift considering the price of the product and would allow for really improved functionality to put the fans on timers, respond to ambient conditions, manually make adjustments, etc.

Really needs to be part of the next gen offering (and personally I think I should get free upgrades for my suggestion … ;)
