cwood15: This umbrella does exactly what it says it does. When you're under it, it does feel cooler and it's big enough to protect one person from the rain. I was also surprised by how well it stood up against windy conditions and never once seemed like it was going to flip inside out! The only drawback for me is that it does take a bit of force to click it back into place once you're done but it isn't a huge problem. Overall a great umbrella!

JJohn: Two years and still sturdy as ever.

Went through snow and thunderstorms.

It is compact so it'll be smaller than regular umbrellas and you might find your lower parts a big soggy during a real downpour, can't be avoided. Had washed it with soap and hard water but never saw any bit of rust on it.

Alain: I really like the umbrella and I got it! My friends noticed the difference in temperature under the umbrella too. It helps against the strong Florida sun! Diana Del Castillo: I HATE THE SUN. And thus, I can be found with as much SPF as I can lather on face and ALWAYS carry an umbrella. Now, I'm no umbrella expert, and as a quick disclaimer I bought this almost entirely for the UPF, but this baby is COMPELTELY opaque when it comes to light! (Which is more than I can say about the various other umbrellas I've owned). It also feels fairly sturdy so I can't wait to fight signs of aging looking like an AHS Coven character.

Edit: so far this umbrella has withstood strong winds and rainy days phenomenally, but I do have one complaint. The handle is coated with a dark matte cover which with almost DAILY usage has worn down and leaves small black debris on my hands and clothes. At this point it's almost all rubbed off so I'm hoping I don't have to deal with that much longer because aside from that, 10/10 still recommend.

Sadie: I've had this umbrella for a week or so but it's held up to strong winds and heavy rain without any issues. It's big enough for one person which is what I wanted so I could walk around town without a large umbrella taking up too much space or bumping into people. Opening and closing the umbrella is super simple and once it's closed it stays closed.

It doesn't rain too often where I live but when it does it's either from a light drizzle or a heavy downpour and strong winds. This umbrella kept me dry and didn't flip inside out when the wind picked up. I've also used it during the day to keep the sun off me and it helps with the heat as well. The umbrella isn't transparent at all but I got it in black so I don't know if other colors are less transparent.

The umbrella came with a little pouch but once I took the umbrella out and used it, it was impossible to put back in the pouch so I haven't used it since.
