Even pulled trigger on one snap cap 300 times. No issues, ejected just fine. No wear on the snap cap.

Excellent for cycling ammo, loading/unloading, and dry firing. I had to deside between the common plastic ones and these metal ones and opted for metal. The soft rubber cap cushions your firing pin when you dry fire. Heard complaints about the Red color chipping off. Yes, this does occur. You are putting a paint coated metal inside another harder metal with extremely tight tolerances. Go figure. After several hundred dry fire cycles, and at least 500 magazine load, these are still functioning perfectly with a minimal amount of wear and tear. I use this instead of dry firing on an empty chamber.

These are my first purchase of any snap caps. With that said, these cycle without a single issue. They go straight into battery as smooth as butter and eject just as well. whereas my particular “Taurus G3C” has trouble running some hollow points in its brand new condition, yet to be broken in. Now is that because these snap caps are a little smaller in spec.? I don’t know. If they are… it must be on scale of microns or something. I certainly can’t detect any difference with the naked eye compared to the live rounds I am having trouble with (Sig Sauer Elite Nickel plated). Yes, these are a softer aluminum, and yes, they scratch like soft aluminum. I can totally understand how that is unacceptable to some people. I personally needed them in a pinch, they had the fastest shipping and a good price and (for me) work as expected. if I have to replace them down the road so be it. The fake primer is holding up fine but admittedly I haven’t been dry firing much maybe a dozen or so on each one. My purpose is to practice clearing failure to eject and double feeds. These help a lot in my case.

These are my go-to for snap caps/dummies. I've loaded my own dummies out of spent casings and I've also used some cheaper plastic ones but they never seem to last. I use these mostly to practice drills in my house. They also have a small piece of rubber for your firing pin to strike so your firing pins are safe to dry fire these.
