However there isn't any information about an Adobe Reader download, which I need as I travel and the book is very heavy. Had I known that, I'd have bought the hardcover edition--at least it would be more durable.

Jenia: Got it as a present for my mom, who loves photography, from me, who knows nothing about it. We had a great time looking through it together. Way better gift than the times I tried to get her books of specific photographers that she either didn't like or already had. Also a good chance to quietly note down names she's interested in for next year :) Highly recommended if you're in a similar situation!
