Amazon Customer: It is recommended that you purchase this book when you first take possession of a Rebel 750D, new or second hand. The book's layout is indicative of an incredible amount of attention to detail and planning. E.g. it is a simple matter to locate any aspect of your camera in a surprisingly short time and proves an effective companion in preventing impact damage when placed beneath your camera in its carrying bag, in addition to its preventing inadvertent abuse of your camera.
Whilst it is fully realised that there are many experts in the field when it comes to Canon users, I wouldn't mind betting a pound to a penny that this book will teach you something you didn't know about your camera. That's what I found.
Canon are cunning and clever, in that, if you fit a non-Canon lens, then try to video a long 'take' with it, the video may become punctuated with pauses of 'black screen', randomly spaced. This may prove mysterious to professional and amateur alike. It was the only thing that this book didn't mention, other than that, it was utterly complete. I have no hesitation in recommending this book to beginner and professional alike, after all, we are never too old to learn.

Iggity7: Like all the 'for Dummies' series, the book is a little padded for volume, but it really does have a lot of useful information on how to operate the camera. I am glad I bought it, and it certainly is easier to read and more helpful than the booklet than came with the camera.

C. Gafton: Although the content between most of the DSLR-focused "..for dummies" is mostly the same, for a beginner having all that basic content tailored to the controls of a specific camera is a great manual to have. The young one found it clear, easy to follow, logical and had only good things to say about this book. Use it for what is intended - beginner training, taking someone from "first time I hold a real camera in my hands" to learning the controls and understanding their purpose.

brian john ainsworth: This guide is written in a very straightforward manner and it is illustrated beautifully with easy to follow explanations for all the functions that my new Canon EOS 750D Camera has to offer. Having said that I am also very impressed with the detailed descriptions this book gives when it comes to giving advice on what settings may be used or what may result with certain settings. It is a fascinating guide for a wonderful CANON EOS 750D Camera. This book was delivered in record time and in brand new condition. Thank you. Brian John Ainsworth

Geek Chic Business Woman: I recently purchased a new Canon Rebel T6i, and let's be honest, I'm definitely not a professional photographer. However, I wanted to put more effort into learning photography techniques, and with that comes the necessity of needing to know the 'ins and outs' of your camera. I found this guide to be incredibly helpful, especially for a beginner with the Rebel series. I feel it provides easy to follow instruction and explanation on your to produce the best, quality work possible.
I definitely recommend this how-to book to anyone wanting to fully learn about their Rebel T6i, as it will truly help you learn the functionality and precision of this awesome camera!
