Ram is running at the correct speeds. So I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. There is a heatsink on it, but it's only one side. If that bothers you, there's other sticks that have heatsinks on both sides. But for the price???? These are 100% worth it.

Installed the 2 sodimms in my HP/Compaq 8510w Mobile Workstation with a T7500 Intel CPU. BIOs recognized the 8gb of total ram. No issues. Just to be on the safe-side, I ran both the built-into BIOs memory test and Memtest86 and both came up with no errors with the Leven memory. The RAM was expensive, but a much much better deal compared to other brands. The packaging was very basic with the modules arriving inside a clam shell that can be easily opened.

The ease of installation depends on the specific laptop that you have.
In my case, it was an older HP with easy access to the memory.
Do not forget to discharge any static electricity before installing.
