Steve: I had to file down the anvil at the back of the jaws so I could clamp tin, or items of the same thickness. Solved my problem. Not a five star product.

Amazon Customer: These are almost as good as the Vice grip brand but they are a notch below. Better than any I have used on the market besides Vice grip. They grip great and hold up to the wear and tear but I feel like if you smack them hard enough with a hammer they would break. I would buy again. Just save the Vice grips for the torture jobs.
