ZEN: I’m an extremely choosy consumer. Attention to detail and quality are top priority for me. This was delivered very well packaged and secure. Double boxed. They apparently take pride in their product. It’s beautiful, compact, very quiet, dehydrates my wild mushrooms fast and easy. I love the ALL METAL trays and internal construction. I avoid any plastics around heat as they offgas toxins. This is perfect as all internal surfaces are metal. I highly recommend this dehydrator. Great buy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Scarlett: So far I really like it, Love the oblong shape as it doesn't take up a lot of counter space but goes up vertical for extra tray room. It has 6 stainless steel trays which is a plus. It dehydrates so much faster than my old "tv brand" dehydrator which had no options for temperature, on and off switch, or a fan. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because the trays need to have an edge lip to hold the food on the tray. As food dries and you remove and try to take it off, food tends to slide off, hence the reason for having trays with sides. That is the only plus to the "tv brand" vs the Nutrichef. I would also recommend Nutrichef include more plastic liners to put on the stainless steel trays. It comes with one plastic liner and one liner for making fruit wraps. I would like to see 6 plastic liners because when you dehydrate chopped vegetables they fall through the trays as they dehydrate. I purchased plastic canvas and cut to fit each tray as I was doing 6 trays at a time of chopped onions, then corn and beans. I highly recommend this dehydrator. It is also very quiet.

TheCatsMeowTheCatsMeow: I am a fan of the NutriChef NCDH6S.5 Electric Countertop Food Dehydrator.

It shipped well with zero damage coming to the product and minimal packaging waste. It didn't' emit any weird odors.

There's a detailed but not overwhelming or hard to understand user manual. Inside the pages is Getting to Know Your Dehydrator section, Display, Before First Use, Using, Maintenance and specifications. This book should be kept close for reference as needed.

The user interface is easy is to read and not difficult to set up for use. It will beep many times when dehydrating is complete. It will auto shut-off when done so as to not overcook what you've made. It also has a built-in memory so if you plan on doing another batch after one is done it will remember that setting.

The Food Dehydrator Recipes booklet is a great addition . It has the following categories for recipes; Jerky, Fruits, and Snacks. Recipes take drying and enjoyment to the next level with adding just a little bit more to each to be dried food or snack. There are cookies, fruit leather, a vast variety of flavorful jerky variations, chips and crackers!
