Marcos Ficarelli: Yes, I am a master guitarrist and record producer. When they ask me for advice I first tell them: "Begin with the best guitar-pick for your action, then with the best string set - for your whole life ... and don't change it!".
I say the same for drummers. At the same time I bought these stick sets I also bought another assortments (many more expensive) and the maple ones won. No changes anymore.

Supersport-68: ARLX Drum Sticks 5A Wood Tip Drumstick (2 Pair Maple)
Very good pair of utilitarian drum sticks. Nice and light, well made and balanced. They also do not have a heavy resin on them like some other brands. If you are a drummer and start to get any skin issues on your hands, it may be the resin on a lot of drumsticks [VF]. Switch to these and you will see that problem possibly go away. These are my go to sticks and any drummers that play with them on my kit usually start buying them.

Eraser: These have become my favorite drum sticks. For me the feel and weight are just right. I have to this point only used them on an electronic kit so I am curious to see how well they fair, in terms of wear, when used with an acoustic kit.
