Hank Silvers: When I was still deciding whether to take drum lessons, I bought 2 pairs of these sticks. (If I decided not to, I'm only out six bucks.) They were the first drumsticks I've ever had, and they felt fine. I used them for several weeks, pounding on pillows.
Later, I got a practice pad that came with a pair of sticks, and there was a big difference. Both the sticks were lighter, had no lacquer, and were visibly warped. Firewood.
The WOGOD sticks were a tiny bit off perfectly straight, but you had to look hard to see it. They didn't weigh exactly the same, but were different by just a couple of grams.
For the record, when I went ahead with lessons, I got the high-priced sticks (hickory instead of maple, you can probably guess the brand) and they had no warp whatsoever and were identical in weight. So there is a difference, but not so much that a beginner can tell. I'm glad I got the WOGOD sticks back then, and I'm glad I got the hickory sticks later.

Mark: Got them today and tried them out, they seem to be a pretty decent pair of drum sticks that don't feel cheap at all. They're a little on the thicker side but other than that, they have a nice feel and they don't sound half as bad either.
For around 6 to 9 bucks, can't remember the price at this moment, for 2 pairs?
Not bad. I would definitely recommend them just to have an alright pair of 2 pairs of drum sticks just in case, no complaints here

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The sticks themselves are great, no concerns there. Our only issue was that when taking the packaging off the sticks (see picture), it left a sticky residue that we cannot seem to remove.
