SCar7: We've been practicing in a room where I have to keep the volume low, so I tried these out to give myself a little more freedom. Mostly, I'd call them a winner except for on the bell of the ride, which just doesn't ping at all.

Big Girl In Boston: I wanted a good pair of rods to play my cajon for a different sound than sticks or hands.
These rods are very well made -- the rods are quite a bit thicker than the usual rods. Promark is always a good reliable brand for sticks, and I can highly recommend these.

Nicolas M.: These are the lightest ProMark rods, great for fast and precise playing and you can get a wide variety of sound too. I find they get old quick, but always a lot of fun to muck around with and it's nice to have around. You may wanna avoid hitting the rim or you'll destroy them very quickly
