Pic with hose and wrench is this product. Fitting is hand tight and there is no room to get a wrench on it to keep it from leaking. The hose crimp is bigger than the nut leaving no room to tighten it up.The other pic is my old set up that has plenty of room and the nut is bigger than the hose so you can get a wrench in it to keep it from leaking. Next is the hose itself, it’s very stiff and difficult to move around the garage. The internal lock is thin plastic gears with basically a rubber band and pulley system and it’s also difficult to find the locking position. Don’t see it lasting long at all. Will definitely try and return this and spend the extra on a quality hose reel. Very disappointed in this.

Mounted the device inside our two car garage and connected it to our small compressor, mainly for putting air in our tyres. Really impressed by the sturdiness of the mounting bracket and the reel. The hose is more flexible than the heavy rubber, punctured one it replaced and much easier to use. After pulling the hose out, the self-locking mechanism works really well and is easily unlocked with a light tug. The hose reels itself in with just the right amount of force to make it easy to control. The blue hose does kink and looks durable and the fittings at each end are quality products. As a bonus, the package included a quality brass quick release female and male connector, four tyre caps, and a valve core tool as well as the substantial wall screws and plugs.
Very pleased with it.

I like this product a lot. It was very easy to install, a couple of screws and you’re done. I gave it a four for ease of use because occasionally it doesn’t retract the hose without a bit of maneuvering. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, it sure beats dealing with a hose that is difficult to roll up.
