T. Hobdey: This seems like a decent product, but I haven't had to actually use it yet. My issue is with the lack of instructions. It says the mounting loop is removable if your winch doesn't use it, but doesn't say the "right" way to remove it. Presumably you cut it off, but then you have an outet jacket loosely surrounding the inner core and it's unclear if your supposed to melt it to hold it together or what. Also there's no induction on the easiest way to get the rubber stop installed. It's EXTREMELY stiff rubber and I couldn't get the cable through it.

Leo B.: The installation was a bit more involved than I had anticipated as the Polaris winch on my ATV was manufactured to accommodate a steel cable. In the hub there was a slit to run the steel cable through then end back again. The slit was not wide enough to accommodate the eye loop connector on the new synthetic rope cable. The eyelet had to be cutoff and the synthetic rope pushed through the slit. Also the protective fabric sleeve on the hook end was too long as the winch hub was not deep enough to deal with the wraps. Had to cutoff about 4.5 feet. Note, installing on a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800 with a Polaris winch was a pain and took longer than expected. Had to remove the roller fairlead, front grill, front rack, winch frame plate, winch mounting plate. All in all, am satisfied with the new synthetic rope so far. Easier on the hands and no kinks or pinches in the wire to contend with. Time will tell if the synthetic rope holds up the rigors of raising and lowering a snow blade and pulling this heavy ATV out of muskeg.

Michael Frey: The rope itself is good but the end with hole was to big go into winch. Had to cut off put shrink tube on it melt down. After that went thought winch able to loop put pin back in. Went nice on winch and productive cover was nice just remember to put rubber stopper on first. No instruction with rope but nice carri g bag can be used to hold something else.

JG-NYG: Product packaging was great, the hook, stop, and synthetic rope comes in a nice bag. The rope seems to be good quality, I only used it once since installing it, no issues plowing with it. I like the protective sleeve that slides over the rope. I didn’t measure the sleeve but it seemed to be 4’-5’, definitely a nice rope saver. I would recommend this rope as of now
Update: Used this 5 times since purchasing this. I am rough on my plow, and I have not had one issue so far. The best part is that if it were to snap I don’t need to grab l cutters, wrenches and a u bolt to repair on the fly.

Greg: What a difference from my normal braided cable. My OEM cable started to fray and had permanent twists and kinks. This synthetic rope can be used even at extreme angles which would damage traditional metal cable. The only issue I had, and it was minor, was winding it on the reel. It got a little tight as the last few feet were drawn in on the winch. I'll take that all day long and if I try winding it a little more carefully it might fir better. I'll be giving it a weight test this weekend as I lost a tree in a recent storm and pulling trees is a good test.

My reviews: I just replaced my wire rope on my winch after quite a few OUCH moments followed by a few cuss words, naming a winch cable something it is not capable of being.
Love the synthetic rope, it is a lot easier to handle and will be quite loving to my oh so tender hands.
This kit is packaged nicely with the rope, a quality hook, a guide strap (to protect those precious digits), and a cable stop to keep the cable loop from binding in the fairlead.
The rope also had very nice feature a protective sleeve, which I had to remove due to my fairlead being to small to roll in.
All in all this kit an exceptional value.

Bogdan C.: I'm using it on a Outlander 1000 Max which feels a little heavy for it; good for small jobs.
