Bought this black gravel so i could easily see my shrimp. It has a nice sheen to it and cleaned up really well with hardly any "dirt". I'm really glad I chose black.

Sometimes its hard to tell about the shade of black when ordering "black" stones for an aquarium. These didn't match any of my others that I have purchased in the past. However, I preferred the darker color of these and they look nice when mixed in with the lighter shaded black stones I have been using.
They really bring out the brighter colors in my planted freshwater 30 gallon tank. Hope this helps!
