A. OlsenA. Olsen: Love this fireplace! The heat is great and has 2 settings. The fire can be completely customized. You can change the color of the flames as well as the light underneath which is really fun. It's really simple to use. Also I love the thinness of the product. It won't stick out too far from the wall. I'm planning on building a surround for it to mount it to and it looks really simple to mount. The instructions are very clear which isn't always something that happens with these kind of products. Overall very happy with it!

Ralph FurlongRalph Furlong: I wanted to add a fireplace to my bedroom, but did not want to put in a gas one or a real wood fireplace. So, electric seemed to be the best bet. Thus, when this became available, I decided to order it. Here is what I found:

1.. This unit can be either a flush mount or an insert. I did not realize that when I ordered it and thought it was just a flush mount.. The problem is that it sets out a bit from the wall and does not really look “installed”. It works, but I think it would look better being set into a wall. See pictures.

2. When running, (display, not heat) the unit makes noise. It is not really loud, but it is there and noticeable if you are close to the unit or the room is quiet.

3. Has good heat output and the fan will continue to run when you shut it off until the unit has cooled off.

4. Placing the four pieces of wood and the glass beads can be interesting as there is no suggested way to do it and the ends are cut at angles that make it look like they should match up, but do not. In the end, just place it where ti looks best. Suggestion, place some of the beads first, then the wood and finish up with the balance of the beads.
