Christina: I recently replaced the stiff metal vent hose with this flexible one and I'm so glad I did. It was significantly easier to install and, when I pushed the dryer back, I wasn't as worried about it getting crimped. The ease of removal means it'll be easier to clean. Plus, the sharp metal edges of the old one were always threatening to slice my hands open while I fought with it - that is no longer a concern.

Jayne M.: Well it's exactly what I was looking for...I just didn't like the old silver one against our white walls. But beware, this material rips rather easily. Putting it on a sheet metal dryer vent...and scraping it on any sharp edge, instant hole. Just be cautious. I'm still happy with the "look". Will see how it lasts.
