Angel Garcia: Tengo 1 semana con ellos sin problemas, definitivo son para uso ligero no me arriesgaría a usarlas a su maxima capacidad pero en general funcionan bien, el largo es muy bueno anteriormente tenia unas un poco mas cortas y a veces no me alcanzaban para amarrar cosas grandes. Las utilizo en una pickup para amarrar cubetas de pintura, muebles, llantas, cosas ligeras. Si las requieres para uso básico por debajo de los 150-200 kilos son excelentes y por el precio no hay mucho que pensarle

Pottsy: These straps are of good quality. I've already used them multiple times and the function well. Anyone having issues releasing them when under tension may be doing it incorrectly. To release the straps, you simply push in the little metal slide that is for the handle (not the other one which may be what is confusing folks), and then open the ratchet handle fully. They will hen simply pop free and release the tension. They work really well - a lot better than some other straps I have tried.

The only reason I deducted a star is for the plastic coating on the hooks. After a single use it cracked and pieces of the coating fell off. They will no longer offer scratch protection. Luckily, I wasn't too concerned with this as I plan to use these to him into the metal tie down points in my truck and it's not a big deal if they get scratched. They would be better off using a high quality sense rubber insert instead of the plastic coating because what is on there now is literally a joke.

If that doesn't bother you then this is a good deal. I just wish it came with a nice way to store them. Some type of plastic frame you hook them onto to keep...

cstarke: Great straps, i used them for hanging my camping hammock. They serve their purpose nicely not too big not too heavy. Definitely a better buy than getting eno straps.

I dont know why dumb people on here complain about the plastic handle covers coming off. It clearly says on the back of the package easily removable plastic covers. Duh it's meant to be that way on purpose!

talonmedic: Superb to use for any kind of tying down you need to do. These are essentially what we used to call cargo straps in the military. These aren't quiet that good but are very very sturdy. I have used then to tie down items to my roof rack on my van. They are more than good enough to hold anything traveling 65 on the highway. Easy to use and understand. Well worth the money.

Travis: These ratchet tie downs were exactly what I needed. I needed something that would make it easier to secure things to the roof rack on my car, but really didn't find it necessary to buy some crazy straps with 2000Lbs load capacity. These straps are definitely for the lighter loads, but they do just fine. Everything works as well as you'd expect, without breaking the bank in the process. I've used them about 4 or 5 times now in the last week, and can conclude that these straps are an affordable option for those of us who aren't trying to secure anything too crazy.

B. C. Dunlap: I bought these to go with the hitch hog I bought for my Jeep Wrangler (Pro Series 63153 60" x 24" Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier (Black)). I also bought a spider web bungee thing to use, but I find I feel better using properly fastened ratchet straps. They're very long and I've only had to use one or two of them at a time, so far, but having all four on hand is nice...just in case.

I particularly enjoy the plastic coated metal hooks. They secure nicely without scratching up my hitch hog and they're a heck of a lot more reliable than anything made of plastic.

Great purchase and a great price.
