Jennifer: Thick plastic fuel containers. They look good, the cap screws on properly and the shipping was fast. I got these in case of a hurricane, to keep in my shed along with my generator. I found these to be cheaper than the store even with the local hurricane season discounts.

Henry Dunn: When you buy these 4 cans I suggest you buy replacement spout that you can actually pour something from the cans. The congressional approved pour spout are horrible. The volume of liquid that can be poured through those spouts is pathetic. Only congress could screw something like a simple pour spout up so bad

Amazon Customer: Believe it or not, I keep a small stockpile of 10 cans in my shed at all times to avoid the fiasco a while back when at least here in NC gas supply line was compromised. I lived thru the gas 'crisis' of 1974 and wasn't going to be caught short yet again. When I use a can in my truck, I refill and date it with a tag and put it back in line. I use the oldest ones first, usually within a month as I need them. I upgraded some of my older cans with these. They are easier to handle. I did however add to each one of the optional vent caps because I did not like the spout that came with these cans. I bought one of the larger spouts also from Amazon and that works fine since I only need to pour one at a time. Anyway.

JeffreyJeffrey: I bought this four pack to have on hand for my generator in an emergency.

The safety nozzle was very slow to pour so I disconnected it and added breather valves to all my cans.

Pours much faster and less spilling than trying to use the awkward safety nozzle.

Kay: Good quality red can. Like the extra handle as it allows for easier hold when fueling the car. All other small extras are unnecessarily over-engineered and add to the price.

Here is some feedback for the manufacturer:

1. The filter inside the can is in the way of the fuel spout. As soon as you star pouring gas into the can it splashes around and automatically shuts off thinking it is full. You have to somehow cripple it in in a weird angle to continue fueling. Why would you ever wanted a filer going INTO the can? Especially one which does not work. If you buy this can, make sure to remove inside filter before fueling. You have been warned.

2. The pouring spout. The gasket is flimsy. You do need to tighten the lid good because it leaks. But when you do so, it is very easy to dislodge the gasket and, you guessed it, it spills all over you. Did it a few times and it is not an accident. The design is bad. You have to be very gentle with this thing and tighten just right so it does not leak and gasket stays in place.

3. The click valve is ok. It works to get the air in and fuel pours ok. Not too fast, not too slow. Do not know how long...
