Kindle Customer: The padding on this is just right. It does make my foot feel better. The way it holds on with the big toe separate from the other toes is probably the only way to make this secure, but a few times it has started hurting either between the toes or across the top. I just have to be really careful putting on my sock so it is almost too high to keep my sock and my shoe from pulling it down further and ending up being in the wrong place and hurting over time. The price was good. It does seem to be quality with the edges sewn and good material. I really like that two sets are sold in a package.

Ben G: It does the job. Comfortable enough but u can still feel it. Gel cushion very nice to walk on. If the stretchy material is a little nicer (like buttery soft) would have been perfect.

Amazon Customer: I have arthritis and as a result have ball pain pretty bad. I bought a pack of these to wear at the waterpark since I new I would be walking barefoot for hours. I was skeptical since nothing really works well, however, these fit great (I wear size 13 shoe). they don't cut off circulation to my big toe like others do. They did not slip off even swimming or going down water slides. They stayed in place and I didn't feel really any pain. I would say these were a life saver for a few hours but probably not an all day solution. I wear insoles otherwise.

Tip: you get two pairs. two left and two right. I have pain only in my left foot. If you flip inside out they become the opposite foot. thus giving you four of one foot!

Katherine: I ordered these to relieve significant pain and calluses under the metatarsals of my right foot. In terms of fit and function for that purpose, these work perfectly! The gel sits just behind my metatarsals, minimizing impact when walking. I used to be able to walk only a few city blocks before experiencing pain, and with these, I can walk for miles! I wear them with sneakers, and they stay perfectly in place all day--so, I don't have to worry about adhesives, either. Unlike other reviewers, I haven't had any problems with the seam around the big toe.

That said, what makes these gel pads effective is that the elastic keeps them place throughout the day. Although I don't wear wide shoes, the elastic on these is still so strong that my foot starts to ache a bit even after just 30 minutes. It's not so uncomfortable that it will stop me from wearing them, because my metatarsal pain was much, much worse! However, it is the only reason I'm giving these pads four stars instead of five. I am also hoping that the elastic stretches out over time so that this problem will eventually go away.

Wren: first thanks for making this pad to help Moton's Neuroma's feet like mine.
in the package that I received there were 2 pairs of pads, one was the right one with left and right pads but the other one was only on pair for right foot.
I found them slippery which is not quite safe, perhaps the material of the pad cause this problem. I'm looking forward to fine this pads with right material because they can be huge help for Moton's Neuroma's foot.

Paula Corke: The metatarsal sleeves were exactly as described and arrived on time. I have arthritis in my feet and I usually use padded bandages when I go walking. I had hoped the metatarsal sleeves could be used instead. Sadly they are not really thick enough for me but I can see they might offer comfort for people who do not go on very long walks and just need a bit of extra support.
