HeelerGirl: Iwas tired of constantly replacing the PVC outside dryer vent cover. The dogs love to chew them up so decided to try a metal cover. This cover is of a good weight, material and fabrication. First time every I have had a cover that actually easily fit onto the 4" dryer duct extension. Duct slipped easily onto the new cover and slid into the opening in the siding. It does not have a gasket, which is unfortunate, so I placed a bead of clear caulk around the perimeter to the siding to make a water resistant fit. Definitely recommend this product.

Cole: The only thing I don’t like about it is the mesh screen will fall out on occasion. When this happens it’s just and opening so it’s really not anti pest. I had to end up screwing the mesh in place so it wouldn’t fall out any more. Now when the lint and built up I have to take all the screws out just think there could of been a better design

Wins: I ordered this dryer vent cover to replace an existing older cover. Unfortunately, when this arrived, it was much smaller and would not cover the opening that our builder had chipped out when he installed the original vent cover. This is a nice product; very sturdy. I ordered a larger size and am waiting to see if it fits. Returning this one, not for quality, but only because we need a proper fit.

Sharon: I like that it is thicker plastic. Easy to install. I like the screen in it to deter bugs.
But it is just plastic, so will only last for so long.

zsikli: As many have said this will rattle when the out put is not strong enough to keep all the flaps fully open. At full 900 CFM they stay open, at the lowest setting they tinkle all the time. We have a decent amount of wind and that will also cause them to flip open and make noise. In fact I just got up for the bathroom and heard some noise and had to go to investigate.... It turned out to be this. I regret my purchase and wish I had gone with plastic. If it lasts a long time it'll justify the cost I guess.

Chato: Item was used to replace a broken louvre that was the same size. Was not able to find a replacement at the big box stores but Amazon to the rescue
