BK: Much better quality than the previous one I had. Filters have not leaked like another reviews. Flow rate is great. Quality of faucet is solid. Expensive but I got an open box deal.

Amazon Customer: Unclear why, but vendor had opened the product box prior to shipping to insert a packing list. The product includes many small pieces which were just floating around inside an unsealed cardboard box. Product description had omitted (and is still hiding) key information which doubles the budget you will need for consumables. A return procedure exists but was the most difficult I have ever encountered, leading me to believe they intentionally want returns to go missing. As it happens, my return went missing. I am taking a total loss on this purchase. Ironically though, I will save money now that I know how often I would have had to buy the filters (which are also excessively marked up on this particular site).

Devon Cox: Terrible installation. As other reviewers have said, the adaptor for the water line is cheap plastic. I had read it was easy to cross thread and despite my best efforts that's what happened. I could spend hours back and forth to the hardware store,but instead I'll pay $100 for a plumber

Yi Zhou: Once you figure out how to install, it is just a matter to putting things together. I have to purchase additional materials because the connector that provides does not fit my water pipe. The water tastes great, i am happy that i purchased this product

AndyM: This is an review just of installation and other points, I just got this so I can't really speak to longevity.
Firstly, i have seen some reviews say they got one type of faucet(shortish with a black tip, and some get another(tall all chrome). I got the chrome one. I think there are two versions of the kit out there, one from 3M(tall chrome) and one from Cuno(shortish black tip). They are same exact thing aside from the faucet they give you i think.
Anyway..while the install is pretty easy and straight forward the manual for this product is confusing and a bit out of date. It could use a rewrite. I recommend watching this video on YouTube, it coveys how simple the install is. https://youtu.be/BhdfFndkEjo . Took 30 to 45min to install, no leaks or drips, water from faucet has a good flow rate. Tastes fine.

Pro's so far:
-easy install
-no drilling of existing pipes, good for a renter like myself, just swaped out the sprayer with the faucet.
-relatively small space footprint, does not require a largish reservoir tank.
-wastes no water, RO systems waste 3 gallons to make 1 gallon of water(just what I read, and living in CA this is a factor i...

Joseph D Angell: So far I love this filter system. We have terrible city water, and It really makes the water taste great. It also has a good flow rate. The faucet appears well made and seems like it will last. You will likely need to buy an adapter to hook this up to your cold water tap (it comes with a 1/2" plastic adapter and most people will have a 3/8". I got a brass 3/8" to 3/8" and 1/4" tee from home depot, exactly like this  Watts LFPBAV-664 Adapt-a-Valve Compression 3/8-Inch x 3/8-Inch x 1/4-Inch ). It is very easy to install, and the cartridges are very easy to change out. I've only used it for a week so far, so we'll see how it holds up over time.

The only negative thing I have to say is the lame plastic adapter, and the all plastic tubes and system. I'm no a fan of plastic in the drinking system, but I've detected zero plastic taste. Also this filter won't help with hard water, but it makes it taste great.

KC: A good and easy to install unit, but ended up going to pick up some accessories at the local hardware store.
- Adapt-A-Valve 3/8 inch x 3/8 inch x 1/4 inch, ~$6CAD
- Brass insert and Delrin Sleeve ~$4CAD
- Extra water tube ~$6CAD
- Water faucet that fit 1/2 hole $36CAD

I have a 1/2 hole pre-drilled on my granite counter top by the manufacturer, and based on some review, it should be big enough. I think the faucet has changed again, and it has a very wide plastic thread. I ended up picking up a Rainfresh Water Faucet from Lowes to save my problem of making the hole bigger.

The adapter that comes with the kit only can fit 1/2 inch tube but my tube is 3/8. I got a Adapt A Valve that I can easily split at my kitchen faucet, and have the Brass insert to protect the plastic water tube when I installed the water source line.

Overall I like the unit.

S. Potter: I bought this filter to replace my Clear20 pitcher. Happily, the twin solid block carbon filters do an excellent job of filtering my well water. Without filtration, my water has a noticeable mineral taste. My well is 181 feet deep. The Aqua-Pure makes it taste better than bottled water. Because the filters should last about 6 months, the cost per gallon is low.

In general, solid block carbon filters filter out more contaminants than regular "loose" filters like Brita filters. They also do a better filtering job than the whole house filters with the string wound filters.

Installation was quick and easy although the instructions were not as helpful as I would have liked. I mounted mine under my sink with the filters towards the front of the cupboard. That way, I have easy access to the filters. My system came with 2 sets of instructions, one manual for the filter and faucet and one for just the faucet. Each manual calls for a different size drill bit for boring a hole in the sink (if a pre-drilled hole is not available). I used a 1/2" bit. It worked perfectly.

The only knock against the Aqua-Pure, and it's a minor knock, is the water flow pressure. It's a little...
