CA girl: I have a medical issue with a finger which involves a painful bump, Until it heals I use this finger sleeve to protect my finger, hide my disfigurement, and also massage the bump (doctor's orders) as massaging my finger by pressing on the sleeve is less painful. I like the package with numerous sleeves, as fingers get dirty easily, and I have found this item to be washable. I am very pleased with the purchase and grateful someone thought to make it. I was using band-aides but they did not work as well. The fabric and the mild compression both are comforting. I feel better protected than a band-aide.

PetLover: Edit: Sooo....It took me this long to discover that these sleeves are different from my other ones. These sleeves can actually be adjusted, so you can move the seam to the end where they won't cut into your finger (if that makes any sense). The seam is still thicker than the rest of the sleeve, so it still leaves a slight mark on my finger even if I move the seam to the end, but it isn't uncomfortable.
Original review: The sleeves would be great if not for the seam right in the center. The sleeves are tight enough to support my finger, and I have fairly small (thin) fingers. But that seam cuts into my finger and makes it incredibly uncomfortable. I tried turning the sleeves inside out, so the seam is on the outside, but the sleeve doesn't feel tight enough that way and I'm not sure why. Also, if it matters to you (I personally don't care), the seam is black, so if you buy a different color sleeve (I have blue), and you turn the sleeve inside out, the colors won't match.
