Jen E.: This book is a treasure. I’ve made so many recipes in the one week since it arrived. My family likes the food, and the recipes are fast and easy. This book is invaluable to someone who wants to follow the WFPB way of eating, without giving up all of your time to prepping and cooking. Additionally, the dishes do seem to have more appeal than others I’ve experimented with in the past. I am a very, very happy customer.

Donna C. Weidler: Three items: (1) sodium in nutritional information is not available, so if you have high bp, be aware of what may contain salt in the ingredients as you prepare any of the recipes {i.e.: vegetable broth from stores has high amount of sodium, even the low sodium ones}; (2) lots of soy usage; (3) very vew photos. Otherwise, the book is a nice one - recipes are varied.

Trollhair: Yes for urban dwellers. Now for us rural people.....buying anything canned from a grocery store -- never. It is filled with chemicals. Most foods are GMO. Do you know how they process vegetable based oils?
I would like to offer a suggestion. Check out your local farmer's markets. If they can their foods. Perfect. Buy a sample and check it out.
One needs to check out where your foods come from. What country. Many countries do not go by USDA standards. China for one. Avoid any and all foods from there. Even if they come from an American based company.
I was a vegan for years. But I like the vegetarian lifestyle better. I love eggs and cheese.
The recipes in the book are delicious.
Definitely recommend. Because even if you don't manage complete WFPB it is a lot better than fast foods.
