Lise Murphy: We have had our iSpring system since 2017 and have been extremely happy with it. Last weekend we broke the blue casing on one of the filters while replacing the filter. We called iSpring on Monday, spoke to Nick and in less than 24 hours he had shipped a replacement part to us via Fedex. He didn't charge us for the part or the shipping. Jeff T.Jeff T.: We’re on a well and the water was unfiltered before I installed this. It tasted funny and smelled like sulfur. Especially the hot water. I replaced the well pressure tank and all the associated plumbing at the same time and am in the process of re-piping the house so I’m not sure which change made the most difference but the sulfur/rotten egg smell is gone and the water looks and tastes good now. A few things to know; 1. This is very heavy. Don’t try to hang on drywall. No drywall anchor will hold this for long. 2. The directions say to wrap the 1” inlet and outlet fittings 12-15 times which sounds like a lot. It is a lot. I don’t know what is up with ispring’s threads on the inlet and outlet but I don’t think they follow the NPT taper. It’s almost like wrapping the threads with a dish rag. But if you don’t, it will leak. 3. The main bracket will bring the pipes about 4” off your wall so you need to get some stand off pipe hangars or add some blocking to support your pipes. The ones I bought were too short so I’m going to need to find something else to support the rest of the pipe.

Fred: If the fittings were brass I'd be a bigger fan. In addition, there is no way to add pressure guages directly to the unit to monitor the cartridges. Include both and I'd give it 5 stars.

Filters: Sediment filter => GAC+KDF filter => CTO Carbon filter
Professional plumber install - paid $800, well worth it, they have the tools, they have the skills, they have the patience, well, most of the time.
To do it over again: would 100% get the Spin-down filter to lessen load on sediment filter. May still do this but may not have room. Nick, if you're reading this and seeing the pics, what do you think?

We research every major purchase, whole house filter was a major need. Built a log cabin on a small lake in the Adirondack park in upstate NY. Well drilled about 200'. Water is potable, tested several times, but there was some flakey silver particles and other sediment in the toilette and clogging up the screens. I hade a little leak on the outlet of the housing ( my fault ,is plastic and maybe i cross-threaded) called costumer service and talked to Nick and he send me a new housing. BrandonBrandon: Easy enough to install even as a first time guy with the copper pipe and a extra hand.
Got rid of the chlorine which felt like it was getting worse especially with hot water running.
Only complaints is that there are no pressure reliefs in the filter housing, there are 3 molds where the older version has them. Easy fix was to put another ball valve between the two shut offs
And the other is the filter housing is not supported enough for my liking and any slight vibration would move the whole assembly, however it was easily fixable with flatbar I had laying around.
10/10 the wife's ruff skin cleared up within the first week and no more chlorine smell/taste

Amazon Customer: Not that hard to install and the filtration is excellent. The district flushed the lines which had the water come out my garden hose looking like black coffee for days. Destroyed a set of filters but water was clean and clear in the house. The only problem I had was the ends are plastic, have trouble getting one side to seal and not drip. I think the threads developed a burr making it harder to seal because of how soft the plastic is.

Beach GoerBeach Goer: We live in a small town that has experienced frequent periods of discolored water for decades. We'd see it in our toilets, sinks, and bath tubs, knowing it is in our food as well. It would last a couple days and be gone. We purchased a 10' x 10' x 30" kiddie pool for the grandchildren, set it up, filled it, and the water color was disgusting. It was almost the color of tea.
