steve weller: After tearing a hole in my bed I ordered these. They were super easy to replace. I heated the bed to remove remnants of the adhesive and pealed the backing. I was printing about ten minutes after they arrived.

E. Phillips: I was looking for a replacement for my original base (and still can’t find one). This is a 3 pack and fits perfectly but thinner than the original. You have to use clips or you can peel and stick. As I remove to help get the prints off I use clips only. Adhesion is very good, but I shed they were thicker.

Jerry: Echoing what others have said. Prints stick to this material like glue. I ignored what other reviewers had said figuring they were doing something wrong since the stock magnetic bed that came with my Ender 5 didn't have those issues and also because I print with mostly PLA.
Boy, was I wrong!
Even with PLA the print bonded to the surface and was impossible to remove without scraping with a part scraper HARD. Ultimately the print was ruined and the bed surface was damaged.
Solution: USE A RELEASE LAYER! I'm just using purple glue stick (the kind kids use in grade school). As long as I put a one swipe layer across the bed, parts pop right up.
With that issue solved, adhesion is awesome! I've tried PLA and PETG and have had ZERO issues. Couple this with a spring steel print surface and you have the best print surface ever!
After a several prints, I clean the surface with dish soap and water, add another layer of glue stick and it's ready to go! Highly recommended! Just don't use without a release layer of some kind!

TangoDeltaDelta: I pulled chunks out of my original bed surface removing PETG prints that stuck down too well. These worked as well as the original, great for PLA, but I wrecked one with another PETG print. I switched to a glass bed with a light smear of glue stick for almost all my prints, but especially PETG.
I applied the second of these from the 3 piece kit to my base for times when I have a lot of PLA to print, but usually I just leave the glass bed on all the time, because changing between them requires resetting the bed height.
Looks good if you want your printer to look more stock rather than customized.
Removing the adhesive from the base when applying the replacement surfaces is a bit of a pain, but can be done well with good results, if you're patient.
