Philly special 77: It's a really nice board and nicely priced. But if you plan on keeping it around for awhile, you must oil it. It's bare bamboo and the fibers are thirsty. What ever liquid you have on it, it will be absorbed. It won't take long before that becomes a problem. So season it first, just like you have to do with cast iron to keep its longevity. (DONT BAKE THE BOARD THO! ). Seasoning is simply wiping oil on, let it sit a few min, wipe off. There's simple instructions included on frequency needed. I'm happy with it!

Paul P: This is a strong and level cutting board. It come with rubber buttons that you put on the bottom and they make this board go nowhere on my countertop. Very happy with my purchase.
