The outer cylindrical sides aren't "rough enough" to really get the skin cleansing I was hoping for, so I use the round ends.
They are what is pictured and promised and although not huge, they are big enough, and 3 pieces is a good supply.

Sage: I am happy with the purchase. But the soap does not lather much with this loofah, which is true for any loofah made from this material. After looking up at a few online images of loofah plants, I think these are naturally derived, I may be wrong though. I do not like that I cannot track my item being shipped from China, but it did not take too long to receive this. When it's dry it does feel very rough, but when it's soaked, it feels much softer. I use my regular synthetic loofah to gently lather up and this natural loofah to scrub lightly. I think it's perfectly sized too, I can even reach to scrub my back. And the price is good too!
