JessicaJessica: We were making customized tshirts for a birthday party. I planned on doing single color tie dye, however there was not enough dye in a single bottle to cover a Youth Medium tshirt. There was barely enough to completely cover a 3T shirt.
Orange and Dark Umber had granules of something in the dye or it looked like the dye was not dissolving in the water. I opened the back up orange packet, just in case, and it looked the same. I haven’t opened all of the more uncommon colors, so I don’t know exactly which ones are like this.
The colors are not necessarily what they show on the bottle. There was one that was supposed to be a light purple and it was 100% a light pink. Pink looks more like red, and rose red is more hot pink.
I will update after I rinse the shirts to see how well the dye stays.

Angie: I bought this for my grand daughters birthday. She turned 9. Her younger sister, (7) mother and I all tie dyed t shirts. We loved the kit. Gloves, cloth for the table, lots and lots of colors and rubber bands. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. Great purchase for the price also. Would recommend and re order.

Sarah: I enjoyed this product. The colors were vibrant, the squirt bottles were easy to use. I do wish the colors themselves were a little more predictable or labeled. The label colors don’t match the actual color on fabric so that was a bit of a gamble, especially if you wanted something very specific colored.

lexa: This set of tie dye dyes is worth the money. As a beginner, I had no idea what I should start with. This box comes with almost no directions. You have to add 2 ounces of water to each bottle of dye, shake it up and use it on fabric you've soaked in soda ash. Let me tell you if you get 1 speck of dye on your counter, IT WILL STAIN and the ONLY way to remove it is with Bleach. However, the beauty and art of fabric finished with this dye is AWESOME. Now I'm going to learn the tricky art of folding the fabric to make the cooler designs. Tie Dying, here I come!
